theres only been a couple stockton artists that had the potential to be up there, and i don tmean they was hella raw (cus thats thru th eeye of the beholder but i mean had a table and food but they just didnt sit down and eat............cats had deals but didnt parlay them.........
Diz - when he was with Militia, him and the other dude made "Burn". that song got stupid big then they made like 2 remixes, video was on MTV. i dont know what happened but Diz was up there back in '97/'98........
C.O.P.S. - when they was signed to Sony back around '98. Mike D was recording and mixing in million dollar studios.They got a beat from Roger (Zapp), that was oppertunity. dont know what happened, always wanted to ask him but never did..........
i think thats damn near all who's actually been signed to a major...........

my boy Teak and his brother Dee produced a couple songs on Ice Cubes last album, did 5 or 6 on WC's last album and did a few on Ice Cubes new album droppin soon. and i dont mean did a track for them but aint ever gonna be heard, i mean on the album............
too many stockton cats say there gonna blow up but aint even did a quarter of what C.O.P.S. did, C.O.P.S. didnt even drop nothing on Sony............
H.C.U. was never nothin "big" put i remember back in the day at Mike D's house up north, they had a copy on the wall of some record store in chicago that had the top selling albums that week. H.C.U. sold more at that store than Da Brat and E-40..........
cats nowadays aint doin nothin like that...........
and thats when you had a lot to lose cus songs costed alot of money to record, alot to mix, and alot to master..........
