I'm not gonna sugar coat shit just cuz I'm from Stockton & fake it for ya''ll niggas. STEP IT UP!!!!!!!
gotta cosign this. what I wont cosign is speed kills being a whack album. IMO, thats the best album to ever come out of stockton, with the cops close behind. Black Rhino, but I dont know if you can count that a Stockton album.

I don't know man. I hear some heads that was feeling Speed Kills but the beats were mediocre. Peebodie was just down right terrible on the mic. I tryed 2 really get into Young Ren but his raps & flow just wasn't convincing enough. Them cats just sounded like ametuers on the mic.

I like an underground gutter album but that shit was trash to me. It was like 2 cool congs on it & they were only strong cuz the other songs were so damn weak.

Black Rhinos album was by far the tightest shit to ever come out the Valley. I'd say there Paper Route album is better then anything in Droops catalouge but them niggaz aint even from Stockton. Crazy 8 is from San Mateo & D-Cal I heard he was from Oklahoma.

your info about black rhino is correct as far as a stockton album thats a toss up they both lived here at the time and the production was by far the shit but you cant go selling the same beats to diffrent camps thats down right lazyness they should of been major factors but all it takes is one faulty person to fuck it all up for the hole move ment ..... quote "the more i teach them the dummer i get" Real is as real does..... much love for the project much love to lorenzo greeneyes who lost about 50'000$ hes still recouping from that ....mr doctor sells are doing just fine and all the footage that he has for the last 15 years i will be introducing to youtube in the near future........

T-Lo is a stockton artist. he's one of the pioneers, back when he was T-Love.........

I aint gonna lie, i dont listen to nothin outta stockton no more. 90% of the shit is garbage. i'll still slap the old shit fom the early 90's, back when cats was payin 80 bucks an hour for studio time and mastering there shit.........

T-Love huh? That's real gangsta.

Yeah 90% of people aren't from where there from but that's when I call shit out. If u weren't raised there then u aint from there. Like Pac aint from Cali. That's off topic but that's how I look @ it but I hear what ur saying.

THEY are the ones making moves. Check their new tracks from upcoming Muddville King. Ren has E-40, Turf Talk, and Too Short on that and they acknowledge and give it up to the Doja Clik outta Stockton. That song Talking Bout Me is going to be on constant play at least two times an hour on every radio station on the west coast, then it MIGHT spread to the east coast. That is yet to be seen..
oh and Young Ren- Undaground Mailroad was straight fire, production wise and Lyrically.. i still bump that shit till this day, along with Speed Kills

can't believe you ain't feelin that speed kills album evil. that's a definite stockton classic right there. young ren's solo was sick too. i think the only doja clik album i didn't like at all was that hard on da grind. i thought that was awful. it sounded like leftover music that they just threw together. the unreleased and thc albums were tight too. never really got a chance to listen to t-lo tho.

what you think about the d-cal gangsta life?
Never seen a D-Cal album before but my homie said when Black Rhino broke up that D-Cal had a song dissing Crazy 8 that was hella funny. That song was prolly on there. D-Cal is tight though.

But naw I wasn't feeling Speed Kills @ all. That circus looking car oon there cover either. I really tryed 2 get into that CD when I bought it 10 years ago but they sounded so unoriginal & like amutuers. I didn't expect anything with the greatest production or the best emcees but Ren was the only one that stood out & that's only cuz the other members were so damn wack. For anybody to say Peebody is dope on the mic must be trippin. He's pathetic on the mic.

You again? I thought u were dead.

So I'm a hater cuz I'm not feeling Doja Clik? Man, u still got Rens dick in ur mouth? I guess somethings never change. So what if Mitch is showing ice with them. What the fuck that got to do with anything? And it don't matter what artist fuck with Doja. I'm still not fucking with there music. And Doja have those artist on their album but I bet none of those artist would have Doja on there's.

And Doja don't run 209. Alex Spanos runs 209.

U claiming Doja run 209 & Mackalot claims he's the king of Stockton. LOL! Nothing in Stockon moves unless Alex Spanos says so. Ya'll living up under him.

As far as Stockton dudes on the mic Okwerdz got some tight Emcee skills. Ncredable did the soundtrack for Cocaine Cowboys part 2. And these guys sound a little different than usual Stockton rap but they pretty coo http://www.catholicvibe.com/cool_stuff/Salted_Wound.mp3 theres all kinds of different rappers out of Stockton that don't get exposed. No disrespect to the ones who did it first though because hate them or love them Doja Click, D-Good and COPS, DOA, they were all taking a chance trying to put us out there. One love for the city.
