That's the same author. And Dregs, you're wrong to say that dude doesn't know about hip hop. I know him and he is a straight up rap nerd to the fullest degree possible. He literally has studied this shit for a long time, and know more about old school Bay Area rap than most people from The Bay do. If you read cocaineblunts you know he's a huge fan of the old school bay area mobb music.
didnt realize that was the cat from cocaineblunts.. mybad. but still... lil b and 2pac? dont even wanna hear those two names in the same sentence, lol.

All i know is he's keepin his name in everyones mouth with hate, praise or interest... thats the key.. plus dude gives his music away, wrote a book thats out about livin' life in a positive way, floods the internet with shit, made up his own dance and lingo that stuck alot like mac dre did. I mean dudes wanna know how artists like tech n9ne and others create these fanatical die-hard fan bases lil b's doin the same thing... all the controversy is on purpose he gives people shit to talk about and they do... the key to success is stay in the spotlight and be accessible... whether he's in the spotlight negatively or positively is subjective to the individual.. the attention is what it's about... my homies goin to see him tonight in vegas playing the UFC afterparty for the magic convention, dude stays active

dope beats, below average rapper, good hustle. He knows his lane and he plays it well. Do I enjoy his music? Nah I think I have liked 1 out of about 100 songs of his, but there is no denying his hustle is in the right place if people talking about him.

Its just not my type of music, not something I would spend money on, but more power to him to supply the people who like the music he makes, its just not for me at all. But people bringing up 2pac and Mac Dre when talking about LIL B is a bit much, those two are in a whole different league imo.

i didn't compare lil b to mac dre, nor did i say w/certainty that he would fuck with lil b. others said there's no way ever that mac dre would ever fuck with lil b, and the only reason they say that is because they wouldn't. but they're not dre, they're not like dre, they're nowhere near the visionary and level of creative uniquity dre was on, and to be honest, lil b is closer than you or i to dre on that level. the people speak for themselves and i feel dre would recognize that.

the fan base dre tapped in 01-04 when he started doing his bugged out shit is the same demographic as lil b's fans in 2011. the only difference is b has the whole nation and dre only had the opportunity to captivate the bay due to his death.

roach gigz sums it up perfectly. as an artist that eats off music and how fans react to what you output, on a peer-to-peer level you have to respect what lil b is doing.

as a fan you can say fuck that shit if you're not feeling it. but my sense is that on a peer-to-peer, artist-to-artist level dre would fuck w/lil b like he fucked with smoov-e and...

cadillac todd. lol.
