my job has been slow as hell this past 6 weeks like real slow ive workd 45 hours this whole month, i got offered a job startin at 13.50$ n hour at a grocery store, 13.50$ is pretty good for the south being that i can rent a nice ass 2 bedroom apt. for 590$ im gonne quit and take it, so there is jobs out there if you look
Michigan is ROUGH.
People not from Michigan don't realize what the auto industry means to us. GM, Ford and Chrysler employ (indirectly) almost everyone in the entire metro area of Detroit. If one of them goes under, suppliers will go, then those suppliers won't be able to supply parts for other cars. The other 2 of the "big 3" will topple soon after. People won't be able to pay their mortgages. People who went out to eat and shopped around their work will no longer do so. Restaurants will go under. Sporting events are already barren... they would have to leave town if the big 3 all go under. Believe me i sit courtside and everyone at all of the sporting events are automotive related. All of the unemployed people will not be paying income tax (no paychecks) and collecting welfare instead. Retirees will get pensions paid by the government. It's really THAT bad out here right now. A lot of people have their entire lives riding on this "bailout"
I work for Toyota so my job is safe, but I just can't believe how many people are getting laid off.... it's nuts

I'm straight I'm in collections lol. the worse the economy is the more people i have to hunt down. Hella people are filing bankrupsy though. I'm only in this shit because because I've been searching for another job since i started and can't find anything else. I musta applied to every call center gig in phoenix like 5 times a piece with no luck. So I'm like fuck it I'll stay where I'm at cuz a good job is hard to find out here.
I'm knocking out classes when i'm not working though, by the time this economy bounces back I'll have my degree in the legal field where there is never a shortage of Jobs. I have the GI bill going for me so I could probably quit my job and take a jack off gig while going to school full time and still see solid cash flow, i'm not even trippin. Crime rate will go up as well. Expect more robberies and domestic violence. I know shit is already poppin off above the normal rate in my town. I work for Albertsons and the checkers now have to call the managers for pick-up at I believe when they reach only $300 in their till, due to a rise in robberies.

I just go my new job at Fujicolor working or their Film Processing center. Fuck it it's something for the moment cuz the unemployment rate here in Oregon is almost 7.5% so I should be happy. Plus they got killer benefits and room to move up quick. Plus I can print mugs, mousepads, hoodies, Christmas ornaments and any other thing you can think of with whatever pics I want!!! Imma hook all my fellow open fourm folks with Siccness.net custom username coffe mugs. Lmao but nah when it's all said and done I think the economy is treating me too bad.
^^^ I almost worked at Trader Joes it's like some little Organic Hippy grocery joint out here in Portland. Haag they was only Hittin for $9 an hour but they didn't piss test and I live in Oregon. But grocery might be alright if u were at a cool spot. I lightweight almost went into safeway but I got this fuji job and I can rod whatever I want to work and it's hella chill..... Good luck on whatver u choose though bruh.
Not to mention DHL laid off 9500 people... even though that is in another state, shit rolls down hill.
