In one of her interviews she said she was tryin to get HYPHY in her first video but interscope wasnt havin it!! She would do songs wit bay artists but aint nobody on a national level wit her and it would be free promotion for them and we all know interscope isnt givin away shit for free. And when u mention cats like usher and other people yea we know where there from cause they have a shit load of other people on a national level from the same city!! Using Beyonce is a bad example cause Bun B and Slim thug are both on Major labels. Kiesha Cole doesnt have that Local Major lable table pool to choose from when having rappers on her songs!!
Obviously you havent been reading any of the post in this thread. She is signed to a major label. they own the rights to her. If she breaches her contract she could be dropped from the label. In addition to that, Yuk is a no name in the mainstream world of music.
I remember reading a e40 interview and he mentioned how he couldn't do collaborations with a lot of artist because Jive didnt allow it
I dont recall Usher reppin' A town when he first debuted on the mainstream level. He estasblished a fan base, recognition, and creditability that made him and his label major cash. After he did that, he should be able to do whatever the fuck he wants because he's selling records. Would a label want to drop him after what he has accomplished? I dont think. Money talks in mysterious ways we cannot explain.
Keyshia cole isnt even on Ushers level to be able to freelance and do what she desires. It's a matter of time though.
