Good to see Tech is spending money on trying to get MTV viewers to buy his albums.

FTI, we don't give a fuck about MTV or the mainstream!

But we really want exposure on there! Oh and we really want to do shows with Keyshia Cole! Because my fans aren't good enough, I want the black community and more white female teenagers that listen to the radio!

You can't say Fuck The Industry! then pay for advertisement on MTV while performing at horrible generic rap radio station concerts, a station that doesn't even play your music.

When he says "fuck the industry" he means the way it is run, not that he doesn't want to be on MTV and shit. That's why he says the mainstream is going tech not Tech going mainstream. Because if he gets on MTV he got there by selling it through strange music and NOT the industry ;)

I'm really not, I just like giving a different view on a board that is mainly full of "Tech can do no wrong!" people. Mainly only on here anyways, I enjoy having civilized arguments.

Horrible songs like Everybody Move highly suggest Tech is the one (attempting..) going mainstream.

If the mainstream was going Tech, that would imply his shit caught on to a mass audience and started getting radio play when in reality Tech is changing some of his shit up to get on the radio. Seriously, Everybody Move sounds like a amateur attempt at a club song.

I really wish Tech would give up his mainstream aspirations and just embrace the devoted fans he has now and make a album without throwing in tracks strictly for radio play.

Dude sells out shows, gets all the fine groupies he wants and is making a fine living doing what he loves. It disappointments me he still has this burning passion to go mainstream. For what? Unfaithful mainstream radio fans and some more loot?

No artist should be happy with just being average in terms of success and fan support. Especially someone as good as Tech and someone who has been doing music for as long as he has.

will smith who's net worth is now 3 billion.. YES, 3 billion.. and this is the star whos "peers" i'd like to refer 2 them as nay sayers, talked krazy mess on and poured negativity on bekuz he dont like to curse in his music or sign on to specific rolls. this is a fuck the industry type nigga who could buy all your souls and still have a billion left over. these are leaders. tech is a leader whos fans come to him voluntarily not bekuz of some bullshit pitch. will never sold out, and i can bet all yall watch that niggas show on nick @ night 2 and still dont buy his albums! jus like u bitches who still go to the shows and always support even if its in the dark. dont doubt a leader, doubt a follower.

fine but tech still needs to be promoted & claiming that his rep, hype & guest appearances will make killer successful is naive

Eyeless isn't slow.
even someone as slow as myself can see that leaking the album 2 weeks early only adds to his promo, or lack there of

Disco,

Yo what the fuck is up with you man, do you kick your dog and beat your girl too. Seriously though, how long have you been following Tech's career? How about Planet Rock, and a few others? This isnt the first dance song Tech has done. Tech IS a fucking dancer, anyone that has hung out with dude on a regular will tell you he dances so fucking much all the time that is almost gets annoying. He is a fan of all music, INCLUDING COUNTRY, he is gonna have songs that appeal to the mainstream, and his "loyal" fans. The cat's career is coming together just like he has dreamed his whole life it would, doing the kind of music he wants to do. He will surpass icp's sales and I am gonna say easily, he is getting hella promo everywhere, in print ads and everywhere else. There are interviews being set up for the release now, and there will be a industry buzz over the album, especially with some of the controversial songs on there.

Get over that shit, I had to when he started appealing to the fucking juggalos.

oh yeah............and quit hatin.

Tech N9ne will never surpass ICP sales nor will he ever have as much fame as them. One ICP album has sold more than Tech has his entire career.

Industry buzz? Let's see...don't hear anything on the radio, nothing on BET/MTV's websites video selection. Where exactly is this buzz coming from?

Also controversial? It's hard to be controversial when most casual rap fans don't even know who you are.

And yes I realize he's a fan of all music but Everybody Move is a horrible song with no originality whatsoever.

your basis of comparison is like that of a dog vs. kat. people who hate kats will always bet on the dog. you sir think you are coming at this forum intellectually based off a theory of what you THINK.. did you not see my previous reply??? people dont like to speak on or advertise what they are scared of.. it speaks for itself in other ways.. record sales isnt what speaks to strange music.. its the sell out crowds, its the loyalty.. its the growth, its so much more!! tech is just one person to admire.. not a bunch of clowns to which whom individually have their own set of fans.. no disrespect to icp.. though i am not a fan of their music but still have respect 4. regardless of what... you are basing techs future on record sales.. haa!!! anyone will tell you that is not where the money is 4real. i can guaranteeeeeeee that icp has less download activity then tech does!!! hench my whole tangent on CLOSET fans.. come out come out where ever you aree.. we see u!!!

"people love a nigga, they just dont wanna admit it"!! icp fans will always be icp fans.. but there is no room for growth, PERIOD! remember who has continued to grow... remember who is a leader.. remember who has brought u to this forum to speak about him weather it be negative or positive.. u are here because u are part of his following.. you are part of it.

u prove nothing here.. tech is so much more then a record sold homie..

Harsh words man, you sound more like a hardcore Juggalo than a Tech fan, assuming you're not being sarcastic or joking. I guess you're being just brutally honest but nevertheless I beg to differ. I don't know sales stats but I do know that I became a Tech fan through the "virus". One of my boys passed it on to me and it was really like a virus effect the way I heard about Tech. Tech is not a sell out. I and most other people wouldn't be as hardcore Tech fans if Tech sold out to MTV, BET etc. given the people who run industry are fucked up and don't know shit about high quality music.

Everybody Move is an ill song and a superb party song. I preach the song all the time to people because at many parties, in general, people prefer to chill instead of dancing. This song is bomb, I am brutally surprised that you find this song to be horrible. Most people do know Tech...they just don't understand him "...and what they don't understand, they try and destroy" - Tech N9ne.

Tech is bigger than ever and has come a long way but obviously he's fed up with the game since he's been in for so long trying to build tech N9ne and mainstream hasn't gone Tech yet and Tech is thinking about wanting out according a few of his songs off killer. Support your artist and have some faith in Tech. Peace.
