Page 4 doesnt really make sense what so ever. Disco dont be greedy, Tech should be appreciated by anyone possible. Honestly, I would like this to be everybody's music becuas the radio just does not cut it. Think about it, the more people we get listening to Tech the better. Reason behind that is because most people are brainwashed listening to garbage on the radio. If u wanna keep Tech for yourself and not spread the virus thats you but imma continue what i been doing for 10+ years and spreading the virus.

Absolute power is 6 years old it should be there in due time. (if it isnt out of print)

I ran into an old friend today and we started talking about Tech and how he felt in relation to the industry. It was kind of funny because he compared Tech to Metallica lol....I was like WTF is this dude talking about...then he broke it down to this...when metallica was underground all there fans loved them...they were loyal as fuck and realy helped put them on the map and they stayed under for 10 or so years...but when they went off and signed w/ a major and droped an album all there old fans called them sell outs and left them, while due to exposure and hard work they picked up "new " fans and won back old ones and now are one of the biggest bands in the world.

I guess this happens in every big name artists career...theres a point when the old fans feel left out or some shit but new people flock to his shit like it happend overnight. I think the problem some of us long term fans have is that we feel like "yall m/f should have been down from the jump!!" and "now this fools selling out trying to ge more fans and recognition". I dont know if this will be the case w/ Killer or just another false start on his " industry take over"
but regradless I dont think any of us will be happy lol...time will tell I guess:ermm:

I like Tech where he is now.

I don't want to be going to little girls MySpace's and seeing Tech N9ne's music.

Once something becomes popular it's no longer just your music, it's everybodies music and it looses some of it's charm.

That's a completely selfish thing of me to say but just how I feel personally.
Gotta agree to a degree here. I wouldn't of ever came to this forum if it wasn't for tech being underground, look at the forums of all the mainstream rappers they aren't interesting places and its the same topics over and over. Here its a more tight knit community and we can get into better discussions.

However that is a bit selfish, tech makes some of the best music in the world and for him to not be getting all the props or the money he deserves isn't right.

It's funny, because ICP would have never pushed platinum records out if there wasn't that Hollywood records controversy. They were below fuckin Tech status at that point..and probably would still be there today if that shit never would have happened. I'm not hating either...that's the truth.

Here is where I'm torn in this discussion. I completely agree.
I would love for Tech to be the biggest rapper in the world, but I would hate it.
Thats the problem. Some people would rather have tech stay underground because it feels more personal instead of watching him blow up and succeed. Tech's music is for everyone, thats what he wants and thats why he is so diverse. This is why you find r&b, rock, rap, club, personal songs and so on in a Tech album. His fan base is too diverse to satisfy everyone with an album like killer. If you don't like the song, skip it to the songs you do like because they are there. The metallica comparison is a good one because it shows that some fans are just too greedy. Let him be himself and make music.
