exactly. Im a dilevery driver now, my second job and I rely on tips. I deliver lunches to corprations and buissness around Bellevue and Seattle. Some people are hella shady when it comes to tips. Especially Microsoft and T-Mobile. Other then that I get paid well.

So I always tip cause I know how good it feels to get tipped well and how much a job that relies on tips sucks.

At the bar I tip a dollar every beer I get.

There has been three times I can think of that I didn't leave anything. One was at a restraunt in the Luxor in Las Vegas. The other two times at different places in Seattle. The servers in all cases didn't deserve any kind of tip.

20% unless they piss me off. Then they get less than 10% or nothing at all depending on how irritated I was.

^That's what I thought of when I saw this thread. That's why if I get irritated or they do something that's just completely stupid, I won't tip them. It's not like there won't be some other stupid fool that gives them 20% for shitty service because they're "nice." Fuck all that though. If they deserve it, they get one, if not, fuck em.

I overtip sometimes, but thats because I used to work for tips, and know that most of your money will come through tips...but at the same time...I'm a really easy customer to please. But if the service was boo-boo...

I won't leave shit, and don't feel bad about doing it either.



The pizza guy who forgets to bring the crushed red pepper and parmesean is the worst. Thats like a DJ forgetting to bring his needles to the club !

I dont tip because people think its needed when really it isnt. tipping is a TIP. the origin behind that is too pay extra is service was excellent. in most cases it isnt. if i go too a restuant i usually want a Rare Burger. and 9/10 joints dont cook it RARE ( bloody as hell), so that right there is bad service. I dont think the waiters/waitresses ever do PERFECT SERVICE yet alone beyond perfect service too deserve a tip. Now if the lady wants too give me a blowjob while im eating a steak. then maybe 3.00$. that deserves a tip. but for the most part tips are a service fee. tipping is overdone and played out.

sounds like me. i got breakfast the other day and the service was horrible. so i stacked up the cream, threw some ketchup all over, and put a hashbrown on the top of the cream with a penny sticking in it. hopefully dude found his tip.

if the service not up to par they dont get shit... ive eaten at a couple places where they acted like st8 up bitches and got old skittles or last piece of pocket gum
