We all know you hate Jeff Garcia from back when he was on the Niners. Then he couldn't make your whack ass hopeless team a winner so your opinion is twisted. You've hated on him since way back when he was taking the Niners into the playoffs. You never give him credit for shit and constantly try to find flaws in him.. Since there's not much to bring up about the way he plays, you have to come in here and point out what little flaws he has in his character. You're a fuckin hater, plain and simple.

Get K. Winslow's dick out your ass and stop being a bitch.
Tony brought up his professionalism and I brought up the DUI...how is that hating?

It was a response to what somone else said...I never said anything about the way he plays...did I cupcake?

And what does Winslow have to do with anything? This thread is about Garcia.

Stick to the topic dipshit.

Pykillaman has no idea what he's talking about.

So all those times he went to the Pro Bowl in SF and took the Niners to the playoffs wasn't shit? LMFAO!!!!

I am a fan of Jeff Garcia.. He's from my hometown and I was rooting for him to do well and take the starting job in SF when they decided to sign him after Steve Young was out. I know some of his family and I've met him several times, he's a cool cat. So I am rooting for Philly in the playoffs and wishing Jeff all the success in the world. I've always said the Niners shouldn't have let him walk.
Haha you read my fuckin mind. This foo said he's a 9er faithful, then turned around sayin Garcia didn't do shit when he was here. Are you fuckin crazy? Not only did Garcia have beefy stats damn near every single year he was on the squad, but the year he got injured and then came back and had a couple bad games. Then I remember he finished off the season lookin better than ever, and the 9ers released him outta nowhere. He got a straight raw deal from Frisco. The only reason they let him go is cuze T.O was always complainin. Then the followin season they got rid of T.O so it was pointless to bounce Garcia in the first place. What makes it even fuckin dumber is the 9ers knew what they were gettin when they kept T.O. Did they expect him to change his attitude when they got rid of Garcia or what. That whole situation that happened still pisses me off. We should have definately been a Superbowl squad with the guys we had. I still remember that play-off game against Atlanta when Garcia and T.O took em to town, the good ol days. But to get to the original question I'm happy for Garcia. I want to see him suceed where ever he goes. I wouldn't mind seein the Eagles go to the Superbowl from the NFC now. If McNabb was playin no, but I want to see Garcia make it happen. Also another side note is Steve Young made a good point at the begining of the season. He was sayin that the Raiders should have picked up Garcia. I think they looked at him for a quick second too, but nuttin serious. Even though I ain't no Raiders fans but that coulda been a nice combo with Garcia to Moss, and Porter if he woulda been playin. Garcia got that elusivness where he can run out the pocket and hit his receivers deep downfield. He got a better arm than people give him credit for.

They never released him. They made him a bogus offer that was insulting to him after what he had done for SF. They were offering him such a small amount to stay it was hard for him to even consider the possibility of staying. I mean shit, he went to the Pro Bowl 3 times, took the franchise from the dumps and helped lead them back into the playoffs.. Then they make a whack offer? That's why he walked, and all he would say is that he was "looking after himself this time." Nobody knew exactly what he meant by that, but I know because I know his family.

Owens and Garcia left the squad the same year. They were thinking about who to keep and who to bounce, and they ended up losing both of them. They offered Garcia next-to-nothing and then they went and traded Owens away. The next year they were 2-14.

Yeah because they've invested in McNabb. The Eagles are a better team with Jeff Garcia at QB (at least that's the case this year).
i understand your love for Garcia so I dont want to go in circles with this again but he was not going to start on ANY TEAM thats why he was SECOND STRING....its not because of McNabb that Garcia wasnt starting he didnt take that job from him........ He's a Quarterback that can only play in certain types of offenses..... he's an average QB just because he's from your city doesnt make him better then he really is........Your telling me that the eagles wouldnt be in the playoff with McNabb at QB????

He was not gonna start because of his age. Point blank.

And yes he's a QB that can only play in certain types of offenses.. The type that are in the least bit competent. JUST LIKE ANY GOOD QB. Put any QB into the situations Garcia was in out there in Detroit and Cleveland. Nobody was gonna do shit in those places.

Did you not watch the Eagles struggle with McNabb in there? Under Garcia they are 4-1. End of story.

Are you an idiot? Jeff Garcia is a good ass QB. The guy is mobile and elusive, he rarely makes mistakes and he runs offenses like a good QB is supposed to. He's always very composed and in control. He SHOULD have been the starter in Philly but like somebody said they invested in McNabb and we all know it wouldn't matter if Garcia out-performed him every day of the year, they would still be going with McNabb. The Eagles are looking way hotter with Garcia than they did with McNabb and right now they might be the hottest team in the NFC. You seem to be judging Garcia on his stints with the Browns and Lions, but no QB was gonna take those shitty teams out of the dumps. You could put Peyton Manning in those spots and even he would have bombed. Give me a break loco.

I hate the 9ers and I'm not too fond of Jeff Garcia because he used to be a 9er, but I can't deny his talent. He's 10x better than Alex Smith is and the 9ers would have been a playoff team this year if Garcia was at the reigns. I don't know what your beef with the vato is, but you're off base.

Age aint got shit to do with not starting, Gannon, Brad Johnson.....If you got the talent then you'll play...... He's an average QB that if he isnt surrounded with talent isnt going to do shit........ Your blinded by your love for him..... If he was this great QB he could get it done anywhere..... He's average, get over it......

Once again you're an idiot. If that's the way it works, then all the great QBs in history were average because they were all surrounded with talent.

Montana, Young, Brady, Manning, Marino, Elway, Aikman....... They were/are average.

Get the fuck outta here.

The niners wouldnt still been the same with garcia.......Do you understand that Smith is 22 years old?????? The vato isnt above average sorry.........

LMFAO @ Vince Young.

I can see you have no idea what's going on.

And LOL @ Garcia being a pussy and not wanting to take hits. Yeah, that's why he's known as a tough player, because he's scared.

I'm done with you, you're hopeless.

You're a fuckin bigger idiot that I thought. You actually think Vince Young is a good QB already? I've watched the kid play several times this season, he's not bad, but he's not good yet. He makes rookie mistakes, and it's his legs that get the job done. He's not a good QB at this point. He may be very soon, but not right now.
