to not include the 1998 Broncos makes this poll completely irrelevant!

Great offense, decent defense, could kill you with the pass or the run. not voting in this poll.

I see what you sayin, but theres fans like that everywhere, trust me it aint just 9er fans. As far as entertainment, the 94 niners were #1. Merten Hanks & Deion Sanders, they were fun to watch

da bears without question. Greatest defense of all time and greatest running back of all time, if not only second behind Jim Brown.

Not too mention the rest of their offense wasn't too bad either- Jim McMahon was in his prime, Willie Gault, etc.

They absolutely dominated on both sides of the ball, but that defense shut teams down, straight embarrassed them. 49ners couldn't touch that, imo.

I've only been alive since 84, so I won't comment on anything before the 1990s. But the modern era Patriots aren't even on that list. They stand out more than any other team in the past 20 years IMO.

Then what do you think about the '84 championship game between the 9ers and Bears? 17-0 at cold ass Soldier field.

I voted '94 9ers just because that team was stacked. So was the '89 team but I feel that the '94 team was a bit better.

The Pats were a dynasty but far from the best since 1990!! They couldnt fuck with neither of the 3 Cowboy teams in the 90's nor the 94 niners which I have said aint top 5 alltime but better than any of the 2000 Patriot teams!! Theres a couple others 2 but thats just to name a few!! T. Brady is one of the best QB's of alltime already but those Pats teams aint nowhere near the top of greatest SB's even from 1990 and on!! Got Em!!

It was a toss up between the 89 Niners and the 94 Niners. I went with the 94 Niners because of their offense and my favorite qb of all time is Steve Young. That man threw 6 TD passes in the SuperBowl to top that season off... But I could see an argument being made for the 89 Niners because Jerry Rice and Montana were in their primes and on defense they had Ronnie Lott and Charles Haley.

that wasn't '85 was it?

85 bears >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> 84 bears

In 84 they went 10-6.
In 85 the were 15-1.

In 84 Jim McMahon missed a lot of games due to injuries and Steve Fuller (who?) was the backup QB, who also got injured and Rusty Lisch (who?!?) had to back up the back up. Lisch was so bad that none other than Walter Payton himself played some QB!!! They also had to sign 14-year journeyman Greg Landry as QB to back up Walter Payton! That should tell you what kind of year it was in '84.

And Steve Fuller was able to return for the 49ners game but he sucked badly.

So there is no comparison between the 84 bears and the 85 bears.

LMAO at saying the '86 bears is the same as the '85 bears!!! Are you retarded??

First off, Jim McMahon showed up to training camp 25 pounds overweight. He partyed hardcore after the superbowl. Further, he played only 6 games total in the season due to injuries!

MORE IMPORTANTLY, Buddy Ryan, their Defensive Coordinator and the genius who revolutionized the 46 defense that led them to the superbowl in '85, left the team following the superbowl. Their defense was NEVER the same.

Regardless of all that, they went 14-2 losing to Vikings, the Rams and finally the Redskins in the playoffs. So you're incorrect yet again.

You don't want to hear about their defense??? lmao, the greatest defense in the history of the sport and you don't want to hear it? And Walter Payton was the the greatest RB of all time (you can make an arguement that Jim Brown was better but that's it). 49ners, lmao. sure ok
