^^^ with that being said the 85 Bears would have totally obliterated the 2001 Ravens.
You mean the 2000 Ravens right? You said "totally obliterated".... man you can't be serious. The Bears didn't have enough of offense to do that to that Ravens team. It probably would have been a very low scoring game in a defensive battle (The Ravens had the edge in special teams)... but please don't bring up Walter Payton or I'll have to bring up Ray Lewis and you and I know who would win that battle.

Which team gave up the "least" amount of points during that 16 game season? The Ravens D gave up 0 points in the SuperBowl! "ZERO"... not even a damn field goal.
So you base a whole season on one game? I am confused by your post.

The problem is, once AGAIN, is you are looking ONLY at stats. Stats don't always tell the whole story, and as a football fan...or SPORTS fan for that matter...YOU should know this.

Let me help clear this up... The Ravens defense gave up the least amount of points in NFL history during a 16 game season... and then their defense gave up 0 points in the SuperBowl to top it off. So no, I am not basing a whole season on one game!

Da bears shut out both teams in the playoffs. They beat the giants 21-0 and the Rams 24-0. ZERO points in two playoff games. I have the 85 superbowl on VHS as well, they won 46-10. The patriots scored a field goal in the first quarter, after on the second play of the game walter payton fumbled and the patriots got the ball on da bears 19 yard line. they got stopped and kicked an easy FG. They didn't score again until late in the 4th quarter when the bears were up 46-3, it was garbage time and da bears were just having fun since the game was looooong over.

The Ravens defense didn't give up any points though in the SuperBowl. None! When was the last time an offense didn't score nada in a SuperBowl? I mean did the Giants even get into field goal range? Man that Ravens defense was just too dominant!

and do you realize many of the points scored against da bears were in garbage time, after they have the game won??

Besides, we already know you've never seen any 85 bears games (besides maybe when you were 8!!!) so your opinion is irrelevant. I've seen BOTH teams play

Are you seriously this retarded? I just broke down to you that the patriots scored 3 measly points because Walter Payton (the offense, not defense) fumbled on their own 19 yard line. The patriots got stuffed and kicked a 3 pointer. The patriots could not move the ball, they rushed for 7 yards total! They didn't score again the entire game until the bears were up by 43 points. da bears were completely clowning around by the 4th quarter, william parry was running back, guys that never played were playing just so they could be in the superbowl, etc. who fuckin cares?!?

da bears allowed a total of 10 points in the post-season, the ravens allowed 24.

The bears outscored their opponents 91-10 in the post season and superbowl (two shutouts).

The Ravens outscored their opponents 71-23 (or you can subtract the 97 yard kick off return in the superbowl, bears still bettter)
