I lost my life long friend Jim a week before his 19th B Day. He was finally cleanin up his act and about to join the National Guard. I guess he wanted to have one last bang...little did he know it was his LAST bang. Dude had HELLA different pills in his system. Thats why I stay away from them fuckers.

RIP to everyone mentioned in this thread!

To the original poster, dont dwell on dude being gone. Try to focus on the good times you had.

R.I.P. GABRIEL. HOMIE DIED AT LIKE 28 OR SO, FROM A BRAIN TUMOR. HE HAD TO GET BLOOD TRANSFUSIONS ALL THE TIME, IT WAS IN-OPPERABLE. DIED IN FEBURARY

HE GAVE ME WORK LAST SUMMER WHEN I WAS STRUGGLIN FOR MONEY. ALWAYS SHOWED HOSPITALITY WHEN I WAS AT HIS HOUSE. AND THAT WAS ONE OF THE ONLY MUTHAFUCKAS THAT I'VE DONE FAVORS FOR HIM, AND HE WOULD ACTUALLY HELP ME OUT WHEN I NEED SOMETHIN.

THAT SHIT HIT ME HARD BECAUSE MY ONLY BROTHER MY LIL BRO HAD A BRAIN TUMOR WHEN HE WAS A KID TOO...

LMFAO!!!!!

My bad, my bad, I completely understand this is not the thread to be joking in, but that was too funny. I'm seriously crying from laughing.

On a serious note, it also helps to laugh a little in these times. Remember the good times and laugh at the stupid shit you did with your Homie.

Trust me, I've lost plenty & understand. I mean, shit, I was starting to feel all down again just remembering my Homies as I read through the replies until I read this one.

There are no real words to comfort you 1 Deep, or to make things change that will make it all better. We all deal with shit different. Just hang in there Homie and try and get out and talk to people around you. Don't trust people on the net too much. Half of these people in here are serious... if that!

Hang in there Mayne & I'm truly sorry for your loss.

Here we are the day after & my stomach is sore from laughing so hard last night at Prodigy's post.

It got my babies mama all pissed off at me last night cause I went to bed & kept laughing hard for about 20 mins. after I had logged out. She elbowed me a few times cause I woke her up from laughing.

On the other end, don't misunderstand it. I lost my childhood friend (he Od'd too), my dad passed away in 97 and my mom has been in a coma since Oct. 2007. I have kids, but sometimes feel like I'm flying alone out here.

None the less, laugh through the sadness at times.

And my honest opinion on this subject: Nobody is helping you get through it by giving you their sad stories.

Again, sorry for your loss.

Dying is as much a part of life as living is, and that's a fact. It's the needed balance, the pain to all the joy. One can't exist without the other and wishing death wouldn't happen is foolish. The best you can do is learn to accept it, for all of our times will come eventually.

some people were afraid to come see you, man....some people were like 'i dont wanna see him like that' but i made sure i came through to show my support because i thought in some way, it might help...

shit aint easy tho bro. niggas may not admit it, but im not the only person who went up that elevator in tears and had to soak it up before walking in the room. i can only imagine if i had to go to your funeral.

i kept faith you was gon be aiight tho and never put it in my mind that you was about to die

anyways, good to see you pulled through......

IMO i feel like im the friend that was supposed to die untimely.....ive escaped death a handfull of times and still here to tell the shit...luck or the grace of god...one or the other
