I have ran into my share of cops that have been dickheads to me, but haven't experienced anything real bad like I'm sure you and plenty of other people have.

In this specific situation though, I think it would be more apporpriate to say fuck Maurice Clemmons than fuck the police and the officers who died today. If you read the article I posted a link to, you can see dude is crazy, and is a child molestor/rapist. What if he did some foul shit to your kids or some relatives of yours? Are you guys still gonna cheer him on because he killed some police?

Also, if it's "fuck the police" would you rather live without them altogether? Sure there's a shitload of corrupt police, but there are a lot of good police officers out there too that put these sick sex offenders and murderers off the street so we can all be safe. Just because you haven't met one, doesnt mean they don't exist. Let's not forget that some of these cops do save lives too and dont just walk the streets being racist and harass people. Those cops go unnoticed because they are just doing their job. Do you honestly think every single police officer is corrupt?

There's a massive amount of problems with police in our country, but I don't see supporting the killing of officers that we don't know ever did anything wrong as the solution. Hopefully some of you guys that are just saying fuck em will read what I wrote with an open mind and get the point I'm trying to make here.

they're all pigs , the fish rots from the head down. that's the problem they see it just as a job , not serving , not somethin of honor but there job. if the criminal justice system actually did some justice those fucks would be out of a job. they're an occupying force

I read the article. Pretty interesting but also VERY unrealistic for our society with a population on our scale, and our technology. Those people are hunter gatherers. Yes they don't need police for the way they live, but they are thousands of years behind us. It's pretty absurd to think that we could "self-police" ourselves better than what the police we have in place do today.

People arenaturally greedy and selfish, that doesn't necessarily mean we need to be policed.

Selfish tendencies can have positive results. Humans are selfishly altruistic, so when it is in our best interest to help our neighbor we will tend do it.

Why is it absurd? You provide no evidence other than to state your opinion.

I am arguing how effective or necessary are police when you have one society that has police with higher crime statistics than another society that doesn't have police.

With crime statistics they way are in many places, it doesn't appear the police a doing a very good job and may even be exacerbating the issues.

It's an ignorant circle of bullshit. On one hand you want cops to stop generalizing and killing minorities, on the other hand you want the cops to be generalized so they can feel what minorities have been feeling for years. All this does is exacerbate the problem.

An eye for an eye is a bullshit method...it breeds hatred...it's JUST like the street life. "He killed my boy, I'm gonna kill him". Then one of his boys kills you, and one of your boys kills him.

Pretty soon, you have a BUNCH families without fathers, sons, cousins, brothers...not just one.

Bottom line is...It doesn't "show them" anything...it makes matters worse because the people on the defensive turn to the offensive.
