I have ran into my share of cops that have been dickheads to me, but haven't experienced anything real bad like I'm sure you and plenty of other people have.

In this specific situation though, I think it would be more apporpriate to say fuck Maurice Clemmons than fuck the police and the officers who died today. If you read the article I posted a link to, you can see dude is crazy, and is a child molestor/rapist. What if he did some foul shit to your kids or some relatives of yours? Are you guys still gonna cheer him on because he killed some police?

Also, if it's "fuck the police" would you rather live without them altogether? Sure there's a shitload of corrupt police, but there are a lot of good police officers out there too that put these sick sex offenders and murderers off the street so we can all be safe. Just because you haven't met one, doesnt mean they don't exist. Let's not forget that some of these cops do save lives too and dont just walk the streets being racist and harass people. Those cops go unnoticed because they are just doing their job. Do you honestly think every single police officer is corrupt?

There's a massive amount of problems with police in our country, but I don't see supporting the killing of officers that we don't know ever did anything wrong as the solution. Hopefully some of you guys that are just saying fuck em will read what I wrote with an open mind and get the point I'm trying to make here.

It could also infer that if there were no police, it would be even worse. We just dont know.
I would put money on this. How do most kids act when they have a substitute teacher in school? They usually act up because rules with that teacher have not yet been established. Or like many employees act when their boss isn't there.

It's an ignorant circle of bullshit. On one hand you want cops to stop generalizing and killing minorities, on the other hand you want the cops to be generalized so they can feel what minorities have been feeling for years. All this does is exacerbate the problem.

An eye for an eye is a bullshit method...it breeds hatred...it's JUST like the street life. "He killed my boy, I'm gonna kill him". Then one of his boys kills you, and one of your boys kills him.

Pretty soon, you have a BUNCH families without fathers, sons, cousins, brothers...not just one.

Bottom line is...It doesn't "show them" anything...it makes matters worse because the people on the defensive turn to the offensive.
I feel what your sayin and it all sounds good but in reality it will never be that way.

If you had someone in your family or a close friend murdered I highly dought you would be singin that same song.

Its easy for people that havent lived thru it to say they wouldnt take revenge or that they would just turn the other cheek.

But in the real world everything you said is the way it already is, and I was just born into this society I didnt make it the way it is.

I wish cops was coo and they did what they are supposed to do "Protect and serve" but in reality they dont. Instead they have ruined the trust of minorities and made us feel insucure when dealing with them.

I could tell you a million stories were cops did nothin to protect my family when we were threaten or needed their help. Truthfully if you aint a rich white person they dont give a fuck about you or your community.

Now I know there is good cops out there. You would have to be an idiot to think not. But they are to few and to spread out for me to be able to say cops do good for my community.

Maybe were you grew cops did good things, but were I grew cops killed people, cops would take you to allys and beat your ass just for the fuck of it, they would do all kinds of foul shit if I told you, you probably wouldnt even belive me.

Like I said if you aint lived tru you cant really understand. I feel like cops hate me and automaticlly think imin a gang or a drug dealer just cuz how I look and were i live and that shit aint right. So until they prove other wise I will always hate cops and never trust them.

So if that is the case, how did humans manage to survive for thousands of years without police?

I feel you on this 100%. Many cops have lost my trust, but I don't hold them all accountable for the poor choices made by some. I know some decent cops...and I've encountered many assholes. What's strange about it is the streets are just like the police departments in that some folks want to have a better life and safer streets, and some fall into the trap and cause nothing but problems and grief.

And about having somebody close to you murdered...my ex-girlfriend was shot in the head because she was kickin' it with the wrong dude. It was sad...it hurt like a bitch...but I'm not god, and taking matters into my own hands would have ruined two more families. I would never seek that kind of revenge on anybody. The ONLY time I would take matters into my own hands is if my life and/or the lives of my family were in immediate danger at that time.

There has always been somebody that reigned over others, whether it be police, a king, etc. etc. Think about when Kings ruled and executed people for stealing shit. Dictators do the same kind of shit, but use armed forces to carry out their bullshit work.

Fact is, there are laws...and somebody needs to enforce those laws. Better police than some supreme ruler.
