Floyd Mayweather vs Manny Pacquiao negotiation timeline

Cotto or Margarito being called the best is just too funny. Sure Mayweather ducked two of the most hittable overrated fighters in boxing. lol. Mayweather ducked Manny so much that he agreed to all of Manny's terms and guess what Manny didn't want to fight. Stop with all the Mayweather is ducking BS it's been proving wrong over and over again.
^^Cotto & Margarito were at the top of the 147 pound division when floyd "retired." It's easy now to say in hindsight that this guy or that guy would have been beat, but at the time when both guys were at the very top of their games that's the fight people wanted to see, more than anything else. Like I said I had no problem with Floyd taking money fights in Ricky Hatton, but he left when the division had been the best/most competitive in years, maybe even since the Leonard/Hearns/Duran/Benitez era.
Maragrito got exposed by Paul Williams as nothing but hype, and Paul beat him with the handwraps. Cotto didn't want to fight Mayweather after he saw that Gatti beating, I guess you forgot when Cotto said he wasn't ready for Floyd. Cotto and Margarito was more Top Rank hype then real threats. Undefeated 140 champion Hatton and 154lb champion ODLH over them two anyday. Oh and by the way ODLH and Hatton where both on the top 10 P4P list when Mayweather beat them.
I'm stupid because I don't think highly of wack ass handwrap Margarito or when I'm hurt back peddling Cotto. I just don't see what would be so much of a challenge for Mayweather against two slow punching, flat-footed, no defense having fighters. I just don't see them two as threats. You have said it yourself that without a jab you're not going to beat Mayweather. So are you telling me Cotto or Maragrito's jab was going to give Floyd problems?? You know the answer to that. Plus both fighters are Top Ranks so really??
In 2007 does Ricky Hatton beat undefeated Miguel Cotto or Margarito? Obviously he gets crushed by both.

Thank god Floyd didn't fight Margarito, Margarito is a cheater and shouldn't be allowed to box as a professional prize fighter anymore. He should be fighting in Mexico, not the U.S.A.
There's nobody in this era of boxing that could beat Floyd, so I don't know why Cotto and Margarito are even being mentioned. I think 206 is mentioning them because Manny beat them.

A) he already beat.
B) that's smaller than his is.
C) that's older than he is.

"We certainly do not have a bias against any athlete," Skinner said. "We do not have a bias (favoring) one athlete over another. All athletes are presumed to be clean until such time as they are proven otherwise.
"But, when it comes to drug testing, USADA, which is a signatory to WADA rules, regulations and procedures, is the gold standard for sports in the United States. We completely adhere to all the international standards as promulgated by WADA."
She said that perhaps Arum has a misperception of how WADA operates, explaining "does not do any actual testing, they do not have the infrastructure to do that. You take (world soccer body) FIFA, the Swimming Federation and others...they are all signatories to WADA. What WADA does is contract out (the testing) to recognized doping control agencies in the different countries."
No other organization in the US does the type of gold standard testing that that we do. Personally, at least, I've never heard of any third party organization that performs the WADA approved standards to the same degree that we do," Skinner said.
