Huh? The WADA oversees "INTERNATIONAL" Olympic competition.

For example: If two men from different countries were to compete internationally, the WADA would use the Anti Doping Agency from both of their countries to do drug test, and then they will get drug tested again by the Anti Doping Agency in the country that they're competing in.

The WADA doesn't test, they set rules and regulations to be followed (which the USADA follows). They use whatever the country uses as their "Anti Doping Organization" and since the fight will most likely be held in the United States, the WADA will use the USADA to conduct the drug tests.

This is just more proof of who doesn't want the fight. Bob Arum (and you) don't know what you're talking about.

Floyd has been asking for Olympic Style Drug Testing and in the United States, USADA does the testing, period.

And what happened during the 2nd round of negotiations? I thought they agreed to all terms and then Floyd walked???????

Now this?

why you making a big deal about this? as long as WADA oversees the drug testing, anyone can do it. USADA does not do any type of drug testing themselves either all they do is simply refer the testing out to WADA accredited laboratories, which there are many. lol @ tony thinking he's a drug testing expert all of a sudden. WADA is the organization that provides the accreditation to the drug testing laboratories not USADA.

The other thing is Pac lives in the Philippines. he trains there 90% of the time (only comes to Cali a few weeks before the fight). USADA would have no authority to test in the Philippines. Pac would have to use a different IOC/WADA approved lab(s) in the Philippines. Which is fine. It could end up something like Floyd uses USADA and Pac would use a different WADA approved agency. As long as they are both overseen by WADA it makes no difference.

Regardless, it's pointless talking about all this now since there is A LOT of time before Pac & floyd fight next. It's irreverent until if and when the next round of negotiations start.

I'm making a big deal about it because it's another road block by Team Pacquiao and then you're going to come on here and blame Floyd like you always do.

I don't think I'm a drug testing expert, I'm just saying why use WADA when the USADA goes by their procedures anyway?

If the fight is going to be held in the US then the WADA is more than likely going to recommend the USADA do the testing.

So what's the point of getting the WADA involved when it's not an Olympic event? And what will they be overseeing?

WADA (World Anti-Doping Agency) is involved regardless. As I mentioned anyone can do the testing as long as they are WADA approved. Even NSAC can do the testing if they can get approved by WADA. It's not a roadblock since Golden Boy already said they don't care who does the testing as long as it's Olympic style testing. And again, not sure how USADA is going to test Pacquiao in the Philippines when they only test in the US. The only time they could do the testing is the final 2-3 weeks when Pac is actually in the US. He trains mostly in the Philippines, you should know that.

Tony remember Manny can do no wrong he agreed to everything, just not when it's time to sign the actual contract. More excuses for Manny not to take the test. More excuses for Top Rank to hold on to there cash cow a little longer..

I don't know man...shit shouldn't be this hard for drug testing. Rule out the USDA and rule out the agency Pacs camp was saying he would use. Let WADA oversee the testing and let both camps choose who will test the other fighter.

If not, choose one agency that has the authority to test in both countries and have them do it (if one exists.)

There is only one side that's causing all the problems and that's Top Rank and Team Manny. Mayweather has been proactive trying to make this fight, by giving in to all of Manny's terms, offering cut-off days to random testing, glove size, ring size, and a $10 million over weight fee. But Top Rank and Team Manny have done nothing but do everything in their power to not make this fight happen. People wonder why Mayweather said fuck it and took a vacation. Top Rank has used the Mayweahter fight to sale Manny's last two bullshit fights, and his dumb ass fans eat the shit up. Soon even the Manny fans will get sick of the bullshit with dude dodging random testing.

Yep, Top Rank is again creating more problems. They need to admit that Manny Pacquiao is scared of Mayweather. Mayweather ends his vacation, calls Manny out by saying "Yes Manny, you're next" and what does Manny do?

Manny hasn't said a word about fighting Floyd or accepting the drug test without cut off since Floyd called him out. Now he's talking about not trusting the USADA? Talk about looking for a way out. If that's not looking for a way out, I don't know what is.

What do they think the USADA is going to do?

I would laugh out loud if the WADA suggest to team Pacquiao to have the USADA do the testing... then Pacquiao would be trapped.... they'll probably over price themselves right out of the fight.

you don't even know if this is a problem since no one from floyd's camp is complaining. Golden Boy said they were fine with any other agency doing the testing. If floyd comes out and says it has to be USADA or no fight, then we have a problem. As of right now, there is no issue.

Floyd ain't worried about the potential problem right now because he's focused on Ortiz. Of course Golden Boy is going to say that because they want the fight to happen. Manny Pacquiao is a scary punk and is looking for a way out of the fight now that Floyd Mayweather has returned.

I find it funny how you always get on Floyd for retiring instead of fighting the top WW's but you don't get on Manny. Ortiz is currently at the top and your boy Manny is fighting Marquez and maybe Bradley next. How about the winner of Ortiz vs Mayweather?

Manny is a straight up punk! He keeps looking for someway out... from asking for a 10 million per pound overweight penatly, to not accepting full random, and now he doesn't want the USADA to do the testing.

Floyd has called Manny out and Manny is quiet.... but he sure was running his mouth during Floyd's vacation, now that he's back, we haven't heard one word from Manny.

Floyd is straight punkin' Manny out.

I can see the 10 million per pound overweight request. That was to make sure that Floyd came in at the weight that Manny would be able to fight him at. Floyd came in overweight before so I can see that (not to mention that if he did come in overweight it would make Manny's purse a bit heavier.)

But on the real, as it stands now, Team Pac just needs to take the test. Just take the test and sign on the line because all this shit, to me, is looking veeeeeeeeeeeeeeeery suspect. And I don't think it lies with Manny, but Arum and his gang.

Of course there's not a problem now because the contract is not in front of Manny to sign yet. Once it's time to sign the contract I'm sure Manny will have a new excuses ready to go.. I was called dumb when I said Mayweather will back Manny into a corner and make him submit to random testing. That day is getting closer with every Manny excuse.

Exactly Heresy, that's why Floyd agreed bruh (does the Nevada Athleltic Commision have their own overweight penalties????). I hate to sound like a broken record but just like bigface says, Floyd agreed to everything that Manny wanted.

The one request that Floyd wants, team Manny is trippin. We've heard:

Manny doesn't like needles
Manny feels weak giving blood too close to the fight (that's why Floyd first offered the 14 day cut off)
Manny wants an apology
Manny files a lawsuit
Manny accepts full random testing but wants the WADA to oversee

I mean damn man, just take the got damn test. All Floyd asks for is one thing, to get randomly tested with no cut off through the USADA which already does the Olympic testing.

You noticed how smooth the negotiations went with Mosley and Ortiz?????

It's good you're starting to see through this BS.

Pacquiao fires business advisor: report
abs-cbnNEWS.com

MANILA, Philippines – Filipino boxing icon Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao has reportedly fired his business advisor, Michael Koncz.

According to a report from Manny Piñol of PhilBoxing.com, Koncz was dismissed by Pacquiao after several mistakes regarding Pacquiao’s MP Productions.

Piñol cited "very reliable sources from Cebu City."

In Manny Pacquiao's official website, Timothy James wrote: "Michael Koncz has been fired and he has been removed from his position."

Piñol says that Koncz was able to work himself into Pacquiao's inner circle despite not being very knowledgeable about boxing.

"He also gained the confidence of Top Rank bossman Bob Arum who used Koncz as his 24-hour bridge to Manny," Piñol writes.

As to the cause of Koncz' ouster, Piñol believes that it may be due to the Canadian's questionable decisions regarding Pacquiao's MP Productions.

"It could be deeper," Piñol adds. "Lately, Koncz has been making his own pronouncements and declarations apparently without the clearance of his boss, the Pacman, in relation to the dreamed fight with Floyd Mayweather."

James says that an official statement will be released on Pacquiao's website.
