Just thought i would throw this in here if it hasn't been mentioned already(only because someone said Tech has been distancing him self from Psychopathic). But he actually just did something for them on DJ Clays new "Let'em Bleed Vol. 3" and Tech tears it the fuck up.

As for Esham he is the shit and Dead Flowers and Repentance are some of his best work.

As far as compering Tech and Esham there just to damn different to compare fuck that shit.

I don't agree with that.. his production values have gone up in terms of beats.. is that what makes you think he is just putting out mainstream bullshit?? There are tracks that reak of Anghellic-esque days post Absolute Power..

If you analyzed Absolute Power for example, it has the key elements of what both Everready and Killer have..

Upbeat party tracks..
Dark, macabre tracks..
Heartfelt, sorrowful tracks..

Just organised diffrently, Everready in my opinion is the closest up-beat album Tech N9ne has made.. in my eyes there is more "mainstream content" on Everready than his other albums.. just in my opinion..


I think Tech is mainstream.. But thats because he is here... He has radio play, and he can come here for 2 dates back 2 back and sell both of them out, and there are still people who want tickets.

That would suggest to me that he is steady gaining popularity than becoming mainstream.. plus his radio-play isn't wide-spread.. not at least from the general consensus I get on these boards because he certainly doesn't get attention overseas..

I repsectfully dissagree...if you listened to what was on the radio at the time when tech put out Everready you will see that it sounded nothing like mainstreem. Im takin bout the big radio hits at the time like Still Tippin' and even Kanye's Heard EM Say or Touch the Sky... The only songs I can figure that were anything close to the mainstreem sound would be jellysickle and MAYBE bout ta bubble or fuck em girl. Plus, the first song on the CD was Riotmaker, with heavy electric guitar which was far away from the mainstreem sound....also you cant tell me that The Beast was anything close to mainstreem....

Everready will forever be my first favorite album from Tech (Anghellic at a close 2nd) because Everready had a unique sound to it that had an energy I had never gotten from listening to mainstreem rap

If you think about it Absolute Power would be more mainstreem in relevence to the time it was released. At the time tech released Absolute Power, the beats and style were very similar to mainstreme AT THE TIME (2002). Plus it was a huge jump from Anghellic. He even had d-12 on the CD after d-12 capitlized their mainstreem fame with eminem and their 2001 relase Devils Night.

But I don't hate, even if Tech has made Mainstreem sounding music, it's still good music. I have loved every one of his relases and each has been different than the last. Ill admit, theres a small chunk of Killer I don't particularly like, but it just goes to show you dont have to like EVERY TECH
N9NE SONG EVER to be a big fan.

EDIT: And yeah, I hate the mainstreem sound and shit, but comeone.....Soulja Boi is/was the closet thing to mainstreem you could get and Tech has never sounded ANYTHING like that EVER....And ECF'NW, Im not takin a stab at you or speakin to you when i say all this, its all jesus... I just went on a ramble cuz im tired of hearin other ppl bitch and piss about how Techs sounds mainstreem .....Its music! Either listen to it or turn it the fuck off and move on with your life
