HAHA BLAZERS STILL SUCK. LOOK AT KWAME BROWN. NUMBER 1, WUT HAPPENED, HE SUCKS! FOLKS BE DOIN DIRT IN COLLEGE BUT WHEN IN THE PROS, THEY FOLD. THERES BEEN SUPERSTARS COMIN OUT THE 2ND ROUND. ODEN CANT GUARANTEE U GUYS PLAYOFF SPOT. A BETTER CHANCE, YES BUT I DONT THINK PORTLAND IS GONNA DO SHIT NEXT YEAR. THE WEST COAST IS TOUGH.
please god tell me you think oden might turn out like Kwame... wow... just wow.

lol if oden gets the same numbers he did his frosh year in college in his first year as a pro he will already be better then kwame had ever dreamed of

The difference is.. Most of the busts recently, never proved themselves at the college level.. Oden proved that he has what it takes when he took Ohio State to the National Championship game his freshman year..

However, I don't think that's a championship caliber squad.

If they had Chris Paul, like they should've drafted a few years back, they'd definitely be a championship caliber squad.. But Jarrett Jack isn't going to cut it.. Plus they still need a SF.
correct we do need a 3, but just watch how this opens up the Free agent market for us, we look a lot better now to potential free agents

I got my shit straight, and I don't see the Blazers winning shit with these guys. Talent can get you so far; look at all the talent on the Knicks, or the Bulls this year (my team), or the Mavs.

Best of luck to 'em...but they'll need all of that and then some.

I MEAN IT'S YOUR TEAM SO OF COURSE U GONNA RIDE FOR THEM. SHIT I SWORE UP AND DOWN MY BULLS WERE GONNA WIN THE CHAMPIONSHIP. LOL IM PROUD OF HOW FAR WE GOT THOUGH. YEAR BY YEAR, GETTIN BETTER JUS LIKE THE BLAZERS BUT ITS NOT THAT HARD TO HIT PLAYOFFS IN THE EAST. IN THE WEST U GOT THE DOMINANT MAVS, SUNS, AND SPURS. PLUS U GOT THE RISING TEAMS THATS RAW LIKE UTAH, HOUSTON, ETC. IT'S GONNA BE PRETTY FUCKIN TOUGH FOR THE BLAZERS TO WIN THE CHAMPIONSHIP MAN. LOL

oden was the most dominant big man in college last year and would have won what durant did award wise.

BUT he had a broken hand and a cast on his strong hand and was dominating with his OFF hand.

"We haven't seen the real Greg Oden yet. What we've seen is 50 percent. That's enough to make him the No. 1 pick. If we saw it all, we'd laugh about the Durant comparisons. Don't get me wrong, Durant can play. He may be great. But I'm taking Greg Oden. My guess is every GM in the league will too once they see him up close."

i hope yall follow this kid next year

I actually think it could happen.. But they still need to make some major moves.. There team will be more in the Pistons mold, where I don't see any of them being a rediculous superstar like most teams do..

However, there odds are slimmer as they have to come out of the west

as far as championships, give us a few years before you say no.. weve watched this team grow and know fully what our boys our capable of
Portland SHOULD have won a championship back in 2000 when they payed a ganga money for all them free agents and damn near had a all-star starting lineup...they couldnt pull that off either.

But we can only wait and see. They are the 2nd best young team in the league...behind the Bulls.

Portland WILL be in the playoffs next year and in the finals within a 3-5 years.
co-sign.....next year might come with some lumps......but best believe the Blazers have the flexibity and the roster to build a DYNASTY....Im not even a fan of theirs, but they got the most young talent I've seen EVER since Ive been watching basketball....and they havent even gone through free-agency and finished tinkering with their roster

Then you must be one year deep as an NBA fan..becuase, as I said in the post above you, the Bulls have THE best YOUNG talent team at this point.

Portland is NOT a lock for the playoffs next year....anyone thinkin that is a fuckin retarded cock sucker...
