Chicago is the best young team and they are definitely better than the Blazers right now. but they are missing a Center.
Ben isn't gonna cut it for them, and Tyrus Thomas is probably just as good as Aldridge.
You list Portland's top three versus Chicago's top three, and it's obvious that Chicago is better.
Oden will probably be a very good player, but he hasn't proved shit in the NBA, yet.
