bad comparision. country is real songs from the heart writting by songwriters. While rap is trends and fads. imo if a rapper starts looking old and grey they should stay behind the scenes and push young talent.
To me 2 Pac was not just a rapper but a poet. How is Rap not writing from the Heart?

@foul mouth I can respect that I just think if you love something whatever it is you should do it forever if you dont then you never really loved it in the first place money or no money that makes a true artist pz

IT SHOULDN'T BE AN AGE CUT OFF, IT SHOULD BE WHEN THE RAPPER RUNS OUT OF SUBJECT MATTER AND STARTS RECYCLING THE SAME OLD SHIT OVER AND OVER AGAIN...............

Not just 2pac. Hella rappers have songs from their heart so he's a retard.
no your retarded you bias dick riding son of a bitch. get off e-40s dick and realize theres a million more rappers out there. theres a few rappers that made touching music but not majority thats what i was saying. while in country and rock majority make timeless music.

When older rappers try to hard to jump on younger generation styles and swagger - It's kinda like the college guy, at the high school party.

BUT when they just do themselves, and push there OWN creativity there is no limit at all. E40 can make music until he's on his death bed... I'ma still listen, like when ppl still listen to any legendary greats in music, acting and comedy.
yeah its like seeing a old 50 year old man with a Ed Hardy shirt on... its like come one now...
as far as rappers go, as long as their not selling out their morals to get sales at an old age then Im not against it at all.. if you love the art of music then by all means continue to push your product and contribute to the Bay.. but dont do some phony/corny ass shit that makes you and everyone else aroumd you look a fool

i don't think there's any cutoff age for talented artists who are already established in the rap game.

however, i do think that at a certain point, for people who haven't already "made it" by the time they're in their 30s or so, they should probably give up on trying to make that a career, because it's probably not gonna happen at that point.

but even so, there's nothing wrong with continuing to make music as a hobby at any age.
that can apply to someone like rob rize for example.
