50 cent released like 3 of his singles from his last album way before it dropped and we all know how rich he is...but yea Clyde Carson is raw as fuck and the song slaps!

You would have to ask his label about that. He is on a major now and that means he isn't the big fish anymore...he is apart of a roster of artist with more clout than him (notice I didn't say talent). Plus if he would have gotten more spins with a high profile dude on the hook and then had to have EVERY station pull the record because he had a uncleared hook...that might have been the end of that song. Song is still tight, but there is a reason they went and got Sean Kingston. He has a bigger name, he makes the song sound hotter and it lends credibility to a (outside of the Bay) unknown artist.

My guess is that they couldn't get it cleared so they ran out and got someone to mimmick the voice of S.Kingston. It's kinda like how Kanye couldn't get Lauryn Hill part cleared for all falls down so he had to have another person come in and do their best L.Hill impression.
