Song is dope and has a more universal appeal than "Turf Drop." Looking forward to how the album pans out.

SIDENOTE: I just got a notice of infringement e-mail from Warner Bros. for posting the song on my website so I had to take it down.

the same reaction was given on this board when tell me when to go came out.
Atg least Tell Me When To GO had a distinct Bay sound for that time and it worked. I didnt necassarily like it, but it still had its OWN sound seperate from the rest of the industry.

This song, however, just sounds like another gneric song that could be interchanged by any number of pop artists you would hear on the radio/MTV.

It is what it is....its only a single and you cant judge a whole album by one song.

I just read a Kardinal Offishall interview. This same quote applies to people like 40 and Snoop.

But you have to think of some of the greats and the things I admire about people like Nas, Jay-Z, Biggie, or anybody successful. They were able to represent some of the harder s**t and at the same time they’re able to take the hood to the club, and that’s called versatility and creativity. I know it’s lacking in Hip-Hop right now, so it’s kind of taking people off guard cause they’re not used to thinking outside the box.

If the club is in the Hood that statement makes no sense.....

IM NOT HATING JUST MY OPINION! but the song is coo. i do think its a bit generic tho. 40 is usually a trendsetter. i do think lil jon should lace 40 up wit somethin gangsta/rnb but clubish . that will go.

yup yup!!

song is nice, i like akon productions! hopefully e-40 don't fumble with the video like he did with "U & Dat" ... sure it wasn't his fault 100% but whatever, hopefully he or whoever is in charge picks a better director with a better treatment.

yes the song go's!!!!! but the video needs to be on sum miami type of videeo style , not in a garage like the u and dat! lol.
but yup yup, lets go 40 !!!

why hate? the movement

looking at these comments i had to re listen.

but imo this song will not hit the radio and take off. i could be wrong because im one opinion, but theres nothing remotely special about this song. alot of shit on the radio isnt special, but it atleast has to be catchy. jackas all over is shitting on this.
