Anyone live in Vegas?

What can you tell me about living there?

My wife and I decided that we're moving there next year when our lease is up. We haven't been there, but that doesn't matter. We wanted to move somewhere that is warmer throughout the year, with a decent cost of living and somewhere we can go out any time we want to.

Btw, we currently live in Richmond, VA. It's alright here, but we've been saying for awhile that we don't want to live here forever.

I grew up in Vegas, the city is pretty shitty for the most part. Job market blows there right now too. Why do you want to move there?

You should move to Henderson if your set on the Vegas area. Henderson is a lot nicer, better neighborhoods etc.

I lived in Vegas, and it's aite. Only thing I liked about living out there was the rent was cheap, and the Vegas strip was right by where I lived.

We'll research all the areas there, like Henderson and what not, and then decide exactly where we wanna live.

move to North Vegas Its hella cool there. I lived by the "Santa Fe Station" Nice Area and 10 hwy miles or less to the strip. I lived there 2 yrs and worked at FRYS Electronics. When i lived there jobs were easy to come by. I dont know about now. Schools R' hella good cuz ALOT of that casino money goes into the schools there. My lil sisters high school prom was on the roof top of some BIG ass casino, I forget wich one but it was hella nice. ppl dont know how to drive for shit out there tho. Best thing bout vegas is everything is 24hrs, the city really never sleeps. Bad thing is watching the news and every fucking day theres death by suicide domistic violance mostly fallowed by random other shit. Another bad thing is I really missed seing green mtns,front yards, parks etc. there is barly any grass or green trees there.
