My brother had knee surgery after tearing his meniscus while training brazilian jiu jitsu. He gained like 15lbs after the surgery. Someone recommended he try p90x to get back in shape and now he's fucking ripped, looking like george st pierre with less than 10% bodyfat. He was like 190 something before and he's 162 right now. He does that shit religiously tho, following all the diet plans and taking all the supplements.

Ya they teach you how to suck in your gut.

No gain in mass, no definition in his delts, arms look the exact same. Somehow this guy just got rid of belly fat.

I think its OK to use if you want to lose some weight. I don't know about being shredded in 90 days though, I just don't buy it. But hey, if it works then good for you. Whatever works.

I've done a round. Got great results in fat loss and definition. Like any fitness regiment, your diet, for the most part is going to determine your results. The p90x nutrition plan in a nutshell is a high protein, moderate fat, low carb (for the first 2 months) deal.

The workouts keep you consistent, because you're exercising 6 times a week. Basically, p90x takes all of the work out of a fitness or fat loss regiment for you by laying everything out for you.

Literally all you do is follow the diet, and do the workouts. So for people who aren't fitness buffs, or have much knowledge; its great.

Those results above aren't the best example, because I've seen people get pretty amazing results with p90x alone.

Its a cool program, and if I didn't miss the gym atmosphere (bitches) so much...I would have done another round.

i have p90x...it was ok....not really for me....

i eat 1500 calories a day ( for the whole day )

do a bike ride 5 miles in the morning.

and then 5 mile walk/run in the evening

i quit smoking 3 months ago, my alcohol intake has been cut back to 2 beers a day ( one at 5 and one with dinner )

i drink about 120 ounces of water per day....no gatorades no supplements

i use that iron gym that you set up on your door frame for pull ups, crunches, and push ups...it actually works

ive been doing this almost 3 weeks lost 10 pounds so far....most of fat is in my midsection...years of drinking and eating fast food, but its coming off

my friend just started doing the "insanity workout"...he says its insane lol

Good job on the loss so far. You should google what drinking does to u when u workout. Prolly shouldn't drink everyday. I ain't ur mama but that shit sounds counter productive to what ur workn hard for.

according to studies... a beer after a workout may be better than water
http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,307518,00.html

i also factor in my 2 beers to my 1500 calorie day which my beer is 110 calories....so 220 of my daily calories are beer

before i started exercising, i would have about 7-8 beers a night and weekends was worse lol...and football tailgates awful....at the stadium at abou 9-9:30 am and then drinking the rest of the day with a post game tailgate party as well and then drink more at the house.....and then beer pong tournaments....you see where im going...

2 beers a day is hardly counter productive...seems to be working great...if i was still smoking that would be a problem lol

Well you have to have a low body fat percentage in the beginning of px if you want your muscles to show after 90 days. Obviously the blob in the montage started px in a rather thick condition so that's why he does not look ripped in the end of the program.

I lost about 30lbs and 7% body fat on it. Wanted to bulk up a little bit, but it ended up being a dirty bulk, where I gained a lot of the fat back. So, had to do another cut...this time didn't do the p90x, but I'm down to about 12% BF.
