I used to think what corporations, politicians, bankers, dictators ect. ect. did as far as corrupting and controlling people for thier own personal gain was horrible.

I've made my mistakes in life, as we all have, but I felt like at the core most of us try to be good people and do the right thing.

However, the older I get the more Im starting to look at things differently.

I work a 9-7 in the public and spend alot of my day just watching people walking around and interacting.

Heres a good percentage of what I see everyday:

Fat ass bitches with Mcdonalds icecream dripping down thier chin walkin around gossiping about some other bitch that thinks thier better or somethin..

Young idiots with spandex jeans walkin around yellin "ey breh" about 60 times without sayin anything that even comes close to a well thought out idea.

Rich yuppy white women with a feeling of entitlement expecting people to kiss thier ass because its part of "service" and they "deserve" it (your so special).

Young girls puttin it all out on display because looking like a hoe is "in" thanks to mtv, vh1 and e

and it goes on...and on

So...this guy comes in my place of biz yesterday, probably around early 60's...real quite person...we started talkin about stuff and he had mentioned that he was a vietnam vet and doesnt like speakin on it...after choppin it up for a while I guess he felt comfortable with me and we got to talkin about how most people now days just take life for granted and are very selfish.

By the time someone else came in that needed some help we had been choppin it for a good 45 mins or so. He said that he enjoyed talking and he damn near looked like he was gonna shed a tear....shit kinda broke me up for a min. Here you have a guy that suffered alot of inner turmoil, he wasnt a rah rah type of guy and didnt seem proud of what he had to do, had hella injuries including to hip replacements.....and all for what????

To protect some fat ass bitch with icecream dripin down her chin complaining about how hard life is.

So...to conclude my thought: To all you people walkin around everyday...its just about you, your so special and deserve everything no matter how expensive it is or who it hurts. You are no different than the stars on tv and should be treated as such. You are a king and queen and the world is your servant.

;)

All the people youve mentioned are a product of their society.
They have just bought the act and are now "sellin out".
do u expect a young chick to seriously not believe she needs to be skinny n physically attractive because that is her ticket towards fame and fortune (a societal produced goal)

your hatin on them is also an option provided for you by society and are no different.
i bet they will hate on you if they were asked what they thought of you, and each of you will claim your reasoning is more valid.

The way i feel, understanding and taking into account another person is the pinnacle of maturity. The real tragedy in life is having gone through it, and not learned that growth is the only real way to live. Obviously we all grow in different respects, but what i mean is that, some people never outgrow old patterns, traditions, and customs that shut them of from further growth mentally, emotionally, spirtually, and morally. Doing whats right in the face of calamity is all a man can do, anything less, and you have been overcomed.

-Life can either be accepted or changed. If it is not accepted, it must be changed. If it cannot be changed, then it must be accepted.”

^ Exactly...and chosing not to grow and become better is the problem. Its just like watching a talk show where an obese woman is claiming she is happy with herself and was "born this way" ect. sometimes even having the audacity to put down people of a healthy weight in reverse calling them too skinny to try and make a better argument. The reality is this chick is fat, lazy, and doesnt want to work to improve her health because it might involve being uncomfortable even if the end result would be positive.

I think the first part is just admiting that, hey, I know Im not perfect but I want to become better and improve in all aspects.

When people talk ill of those who have given in to the system I just like to remind them, it takes super-human will to fight against all the resources used/employed by corporations, and the government. You say well I'm doing it, well you probably have been raised differently than most and even so we're tempted many times to give in and act like one of the "regular" shitheads. I think the only way these kind of people can change is constant encouragement, and enlightenment more so then the negativity and foolishness they ingest everyday. You have to reverse years, generations of what they've been thought is right.

like SeriouslyThug said you can't really blame them cuz they are simply a product of this dysfunctional society we live in.

Also the way the system is for the everyday person, just work, eat, sleep consume, repeat...it beats you down over the years. It's difficult for many people to even take the time and have deep thoughts. Further with all our gadgets, the internet, twitter, facebook, etc., long thoughts are becoming less and less, everything is short thoughts. People are losing the ability to even think deep

they jsut dont fucking care and are so absorbed into their cellphone shit, that they dont have any awareness of their surroundings.

i hate where soecity is going. careless and not giving a fuck until something happens to them, then they play victim, even tho before they were on the top before. fuckin bail me out bitches.

I don't think it takes super-human will. Alot of this shit is common sense but people don't like to get into arguments when it comes to integrity, social responsibility etc. If you're not getting paid, or someone looks at you wrong, people take initiative. When it comes to correcting a friend or close one on something you know is fucking wrong, most people don't want to lose friends so they go along with it, and the person doing the wrong feels safe in knowing what they're doing is okay.

It's like giving excuses to the racists who supported Jim Crow laws and lynchings. "They're just raised that way, they don't know any better."

Never forget the power of mob mentality. This is already evident on here, the Siccness forum.

You'll get pages and pages of posts that say pretty heartless thoughts and ideas, and then if you speak to each person that has posted individually, and ask them what they believe and think thoroughly they turn out have a lot of heart behind their thoughts, they are just too afraid to speak out in fear of being judged as a pussy or anything else that is considered demeaning.

So much to learn from a gangsta rap forum website.

Every person is a product of their environment until they decide that they want to live from within, which is the ever-existing infinite possibilities.

This also explains the phenomenon of sainthood in every religion, creed, and spirituality. Dedicate yourself enough to something that is not of this world and you will realize how you are one in the same.

Enough for now.

I somewht agree but I feel the sense that is common is wrong. We are indoctrinated with alot of backwards shit it seems, so you need more than the average person'swill (super-human will) to combat all of the shit bombarding you to act rightly, speak, and behave like a truly well-adjusted human.

it is a system tho. and when you realize that it is what it is it is too late to change, cuz you have moved on.

just look at it in age groups.

all thruout school, you are taught to fit in, buy what is on TV, so you fit in with your peers, jordans, nike, swhats hot, buy the trendy latest newest brands. you keep on doing this until you reach your 20s.

then you realize, taht what you wre told was all wrong, cuz that shit cost money, and minimum wage and gonna cover taht and a roof over your head. so you either minimize your looks or improvise.

the point is you were taken for a ride and you have been had by the corporations and advertisments selling you shit you dont need. and you only realize taht you have been fucked around with, til later on in your life.

but by then it is too fuckin late, cuz you are not fuckin cool any more, and nobody fuckin cares if you are cool anymore. the system of companies, just propped you up and brought you down in a short span, just taking your money for worthless shit you never needed in your life.

like i said it is too late, and once that lightbulb turned on in your head, that you have been fucked with and realize that you is only a human being like them tribes in the 3rd world, you want to teach your children to not go the same route of being a cool lil flash in the pan culture kid in america, but you cannot resist them, cuz they need some kind of outlet for their growth and sponteneity. so they fit in and not be an outkast. you dont want them to feel left out.

so you feed them the same shit, that you were feed at the sme age, until they realzie that they have been fucked with, jsut like you.....and the cycle continues for generations. you dont think these companys have formulas to keep you grinding that stone for generations. this is was happening.

i wonder why we let this cycle continue??? why do we let the children fall prey to the trap of these corporations that sell junk to them??

it is truly a trap, but it is too late, cuz once you realized that you have been had, that is when you have been disposed of.

yea they say, oh i'm sober, i'm living a pure life, but really, not if you are addicted to the corporate mind set of THEM selling you this bullshit image of who THEY think YOU should be.

that is how much control they got over you, THEY want YOU to be WHO THEY want YOU to be.

instead of YOU being WHO YOU want to be.

even tho im still young, i see the shit these imageseekers want us to be. it does not add up in reality, and especially not in these difficult hard times.

it is never too late to teach someone not to fall into societys traps, but then again, I have no choice I either have to play within a part of the system or perish. see how twisted it is.

i look at america jsut like i look at old russia, every body is all for their own, fuck what you say bout unity.

i wish it would change, but fuck trust none homie, we in the deep.

i think im ready for a commune lifestyle out on a range, jonestown style, cuz im sick of consumption, and how it turns people into sick, deceitful, manipulative, twisted souls, so they can survive another day.

we are fuckin humans, we shouldnt be feeding off each other like vampires and parisites, just to survive. but this is the system we live in.

im ready for some real change, not promises of change. i hope this solar flares come sabout, so people can conenct back to conencting with each other.

i wanna go back to the old ways, wre we sat on the curb, did nothing, jsut talk to each other, look up at the stars, and imagined what ws out there,w ithout going on the nets and knowing the facts of what ws out there.

i want to let my imaginaition wonder what is beyond, i've forgotten how to say "what if" and using my imagination, instead of "did you know" like im a robot encyclopedia in my head.

im gonna make big changes to minimize my life for the better, eliminate outer influences, in this decade, how bout you??????

Preach on brother.

The way we can help change our society is to open the minds of our children. Go into a work field (for now, since this is how the world works) that is directly involved with the development of children and expand the amount of individuals you influence, and you will see a change, even the smallest of them.

I mentioned the power of mob mentality, but this also coincides with collective thought, which is neither negative nor positive. This is the key to how our children will be released from the cycle and embrace their own souls in the meanwhile.

An enlightened soul can reach beyond any ego based fear, and that alone can change our world (especially if you count the incredibly fast rate of information sharing most of our youth has access to).

Regardless, this is all meant to be, if it wasn't it would have been. We must understand that pain is part of fear, and fear is what keeps us imprisoned. Release all fear, and magical-like things will appear exponentially.

You're right, it does take some extra ordinary will to overcome all the influence. I too have noticed the effect that the media and society has on good natured people and yet I said something completely opposite in this thread.

I'm so used to arguing my opinions frequently that I'm starting to do argue on impulse, just for the sake of it.

I agree with most of what you say, except for this part. There's always gonna be a groupthink mentality, and if you're able to raise your kids so that they can be themselves and deal with the pressure of what that may bring, then you did some good..

There's always going to be the in crowd and the outcasts, or unpopular kids. I'd rather take the risk and have my kids be be moral, intelligent and unpopular, than have them be popular and wasting their college money on the latest fashions, just so they can get some girl knocked up when still in highschool and have their life fucked.

i want to let my imaginaition wonder what is beyond, i've forgotten how to say "what if" and using my imagination, instead of "did you know" like im a robot encyclopedia in my head.

Man, I agree. It's too bad all of our resources and money is spent on wars when we could be using that money to invest in scientific developments, and re-energizing the space program.

Or atleast we could be learning more about the things around us instead of gossiping about people we don't even know.
