All three of those cities you named are only ever remembered for being good when America was the king of the world. Stockton is a port, Detroit had cars, and Gary was a steel town. Steel and cars are made all around the world now. Ports don't stay as busy when production is down plus those jobs are pretty good and unionized and difficult to get. As the Bay Area continues to get more expensive to live people move to places like Stockton. Crime follows them. Stockton is still recovering from the Republican created recession.

1st and 2nd amendment rights totally fucked in cali. Those are HUGE rights violations. The price gouging here is absurd. GENTRIFICATION. Cost of living insanely high unless you live in the valley which is also going up in price. Companies don't want to hire local because they get kickdowns for hiring H1B workers from india and china.... therefore we have the worst gentrification in the country. Cali is the leader of banning gas powered cars and forcing electric pieces of shit on us. Forcing big brother tech into our homes and AI. Liberals and Democrats want to restrict the blue collar hard working folks and tax us to death. We have the highest taxes in the country. Income and sales tax. During obama my income tax basically doubled for nothing. I dont like giving my hard earned income away to the government so politicians can buy new mansions and yachts.. they are creating an economy where the blue collar working class support the rich and bum ass welfare class. Too many things to list.

I'm not on any political party I think all politics are scum but the biggest pieces of shit are the lib and dems and that's a fact if you even remotely pay attention to what they do and what they've done. And California is 80% that.

Do you guys vote or just listen to Alex Jones? The "legal" weed here is a joke so it's not something I care about both parties are shitty but the republicans are worse. the thins we should be fixing are political corruption and donors, prison reform, universal healthcare, and eliminating student debt. won't happen though capitalism relies on wage slaves or it doesn't work someone has to be exploited for others to make more money. get rid of all the crooked politicians that are selling us out to their rich buddies.

2nd amendment: A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

nobody has come into my house to take my guns away. has this happened to anyone else here?

1) don't vote or watch Alex Jones. Voting is giving people false sense of feeling like they have an opinion that matters. When in reality politicians are pre determined and pre selected well in advance. It's all a show.

2) they dont just walk into your house breh. It's a process. First they ban thousands of basic handguns and create the California roster (which only allows you to buy old models like gen 3 glock which is almost 3 generations behind now)
Then they basically BRICK all rifles so they're almost useless. Magazine locks, fin grips, featureless rifles, 10 round limits, etc. List goes on.
THEN they restrict ammo. And pass red flag laws where sheriffs can come into your home and take ALL your firearms without due process if ANYONE calls and tells them they feel you shouldn't have them and may be a danger to yourself or others. These are 100% facts. An angry ex girlfriend or jealous coworker can have your home ransacked and guns confiscated without any evidence whatsoever. It's happening alot.

You always hear some uneducated sheep say "they aren't just taking your guns" or "nobody wants to take your guns away" it's like bruh are you living under a rock or what lol.

And you cant be serious, you want free healthcare? You want student loans paid off for you? Sounds like you want socialism which is communism 100%. NOTHING is free. 10000% of all the shit these crooks tell you they will make "free" will come out if our taxes. You dont believe in being able to own your own business and make as much money as you want? From what I've observed the only party out of all these scumbags that is trying to protect the constitution and keep us from becoming like Venezuela or North Korea/china is Republicans. Not that I like them but if we go into another civil war I'm plinking Democrats and libs left n right.

Democrats faught in the war to keep blacks and asians enslaved. Reps ended slavery and we have gun rights to fight tyranny (our own government) not to hunt ducks.

tying your healthcare to your job is wage slavery and limits economic growth want to start your own business but need to go to the doctor? better keep the shitty job you have and STFU about those dreams. I don't have student debt but it is a huge drain on our economy. tons of people have to pay that shit off every month that is money that would be better off spent on things and recirculating back into the economy. what is wrong with fixing the cost of education in America? do you want a dumbass society full of people who cant go to college?

its not a left vs right thing the problem is a rich vs poor and the rich tricking some of the poor into believing they will be rich one day too. We CAnT TaX ThE BilLiOnAIreS ThAt woULD Be uNFair! the right always throws out terrible countries as the boogeyman when things like healthcare and education are brought up. please name ONE civilized first world country that doesn't provide healthcare for their citizens... I seriously cant understand why ANYONE would be against not paying insurance premiums copays etc. if we stopped blowing up brown people over oil by just like 10% we could pay for healthcare

I don't have a problem with things like education and healthcare coming from my taxes it is a million times better than the military-industrial complex, prisons, and police lawsuits. Taxes are a way of life no modern society can exist without them I just don't think the dipshits in charge are spending them the right way. I hate how you have to be on one side of shit here. I love guns don't believe in MOST unions but also think that abortions are a great thing don't care if gays get married or not so IDK what that makes me
