Of course I wouldn't be OK with that. It would be a horrible situation and I believe I would eventually pay for it regardless of the consequences here. It doesn't mean I have to make it worse for myself and my family by spending a sentence in prison for it. It would have no effect on whether I regret it or not. It would just make a bad situation worse. Better for who? The parents of the child? Them seeking pleasure in my pain makes them no better than me.

There are things I have done in my life that I wish I could take back. Would serving time make me feel better about it? Not at all. It would be a complete waste of time. I live with my mistakes everyday.

In regards of homicide. The people who commit them aren't necessarily "normal" to begin with. Were they perfectly normal and then strange after? No, they have always been a little out of touch.
