its like a gang code that if you kill a child, you will face the consequences. if not by the law, then by the gang. so basically theres no snitching, whoever killed the child will get dealt with either way. im not sure how organized the gangs are in oakland cuz seems like its a warzone in east oak right now. didnt some girl also get shot in the head and killed the other day also in a cross fire? i dont know how people living there can wake up and want to even get out the house with shit like this happening.

All I know is I wouldn't turn myself in. I would also mind my own business and not turn someone else in. I'd stay out of it. It's none of my business. If you would turn yourself in, great. If you would turn someone else in, that's you.
At the end, it's you doing the right thing. Not me. I clearly get that.

But if you were shootin at someone and it accidently smacked a baby in the face.. It would be hard to think about and live with but what are you really suppose to do.. you can feel bad and dwell on it all you want but it will never change the fact.. youd probably have nightmares about the poor kid. but personally i wouldnt turn myself in and go to prison for 15 years for it.. i would just feel shitty and try to live my life.. Its a touchy subject.. everyone has their own beliefs and their own outlook on everything.
Of course I wouldn't be OK with that. It would be a horrible situation and I believe I would eventually pay for it regardless of the consequences here. It doesn't mean I have to make it worse for myself and my family by spending a sentence in prison for it. It would have no effect on whether I regret it or not. It would just make a bad situation worse. Better for who? The parents of the child? Them seeking pleasure in my pain makes them no better than me.
There are things I have done in my life that I wish I could take back. Would serving time make me feel better about it? Not at all. It would be a complete waste of time. I live with my mistakes everyday.
