^^ not really since thats were the the flu started ,was a pig farm in mexico that spread from pigs to a little boy.they should get rid of all the piggs,piggs are a nasty animal that carry alot of diseases.theres a reason why Jah said to stay away from that animal.

also i think the media is goin a little too much on this since thousands die from the regular flu every year

News and concern over swine flu has spread faster than the actual illness, but if you want to keep a close eye on reports—confirmed and otherwise—this Google Maps mashup does the job nicely.

Pink markers are suspect
Purple markers are confirmed
Deaths lack a dot in marker
Yellow markers are negative

The map is showing updates fairly regularly, and it's nice to see the distinction between suspected and confirmed accounts. The map's creator, Niman, identifies as "Biomedical Research from PIttsburg" on his/her Google profile, for whatever that's worth. Thanks Bob!

pigs are delicious. and they are actually very smart animals.

Not to take credit from the possible severity of this.......

Why does seem like every so often there is a new outbreak of some sort?

A new epidemic?

A new enemy?

Are you serious? Pigs carry a strain of the flu, and so do humans. Humans can also have HIV/AIDS, herpes, gonorrhea, syphilis...should I go on?

And actually, pigs aren't as filthy as people think they are. They roll around in mud, just like horses, elephants, and rhinos. So why aren't they all filthy? Pigs are actually clean because the mud they roll around in, suffocates the little creatures that live on their skin.
