They got ya'll all gased up over some bullshit! If you wanna hear some two hour Bay show tune into some community or college radio stations like www.kpoo.com (89.5fm).
And it's so funny how ya'll say fuck the Source because they don't support the WEST when KMEL right here don't even support the Bay/West. I see hate in yo post homie. There is a CURE!!! Real talk C.Parker....and the part that cracks me up is that even tho we play the shit FAITHFULLY, the artists STILL seem to always get their product to Clear Channel stations first...Even tho they have little chance of steady rotation...I always fuckin feel like the ugly girl at the dance when it comes to gettin love....It's sad when I get more product from Roc-A-Fella than Done Deal...I'd MUCH rather play Quinn...(just an example)

hey dutch...i hoped u listend to the show... and dont be mad just cuz we didnt play ur record...it just wasnt that good..thas all..if u come with something real quality, then maybe Ill peep it..everyone else...enjoy the show..yeah its a shitty time, and yeah..ya know..we can only do so much. the corprate entities in charge have their stuff to handle, so we got shuffled to the late night..but dont get it twisted..even at 11pm on sunday night we still average 30,000 listeners..have u done a show for 30,000 people at one time? so..dont hate the messenger man.. u can hate on the corporates, hey, we aint exactly feelin them ourselves..every time some gay Nick Cannon record gets handed down from the BOSS it makes us cringe, but if we play it, make little girls happy, then they stay listenin, and more bay artists have a chance to be heard by an audience that may not otherwise hear them..just cuz people live in the bay mean they only wanna hear bay music! just how it is..

Too bad tho if you listen to the songs the bay got on the radio now, they aint even close to as good as the songs were back IN 92-96. the bay shit they playin i been hearin, is just all right trax if that. also back in the days you mite hear "bounce to this" at 2 in the afternoon, where the only time people can hear bay shit now is late nite when mafuccaz is sleepin or eatin dinner. another reason why the lil kids dont buy our albums, but buy a ja rule or g-unit album, they sleepin when our shit gets played, only people up at 11pm, prolly aint even payin attention to the radio. its pathetic how every other major city you go too they playin all the local shit except the bay.
in L.a. all i hear is wc connection, dre, xzibit, and dj quik... in n.y. its jay-z, nas, wu tang, etc... texas they bumpin lil jon, lil flip, david banner etc... and in the bay we play all that shit, exept our own, there gotta be another way we get some more respect from the industry... we cant get major deals if we aint heard, we cant pay for great quality albums if we broke and indipendant (unless we doin illegal shit on the side), we have to figure out some way to get the spot light on the bay, and we are running out of resources!!!

I still think any progress is good progress so this show shouldn't be knocked. Of all the cats over at the Clear Channel stations, Scotty and Von have ALWAYS held it down for the Bay even when they were at Wild 94.9 (Which was tough as HELL)...There are records I HAVE to play as well...Welcome to commercial radio. But this is definetly a step in the right direction!

All I have to say is I listened on sunday and it was the best piece of radio I have listened to in my life. It used to be the only radio show worth listening to was the doghouse and then they turned fairy on us, now we finally got something to listen to that is even better. I will definitely be listening every sunday night. I just wish it were a daily thing
