All music that get sent to KMEL is not weak! Save that shit! It's just real competitive with all the Puffy, Jay Z joints and the politics that surrounds Clear Channel. Yukmouth is far from weak and his spins is barely none. It's all politics homie. Thanx Scotty Fox for taking time out to holla at us. He could of said fuck all of us. I still don't fuck with KMEL, but the people like Fox, Chuy and so on can't do shit about the situation. It's their jobs to do what they are told or go work for somebody else.

What we need is the name, number and address of the person who can really make a change and flood his/her ass with our dislike of the treatment of our local artist.

Dj Mark 7 hit me at [email protected] I need to holla at you

I Agree with what Chuck said... But i don't agree about changing your style to fit in with what's being played all over the country right now. I think alot of folks don't know exactly what a Quinn track or what a Messy track sounds like, or any Bay Artist that doesn't get a lot of national attention. I think if cat's knew about some of talent we got in the bay, then that would be on the charts and people would be buying that. It's a shame about what's going on.... Some artists on radio are ok, but others DO NOT deseve to be played, and it makes me sick to see how much doe they are getting for shitty ass records. And ya, some bay artists don't have talent, but for the one's that do and have been banging for years and have that style that everyone in bay loves, and that style that we know is better than most mainstreem, then i say we keep should keep pushing it, trying to get exposure. If people knew about some hard hittin bay legonds and artists that are upcoming i know that they would get national attention!! I don't think they should change thier style to get more radio play, be original and keep putting out that REAL music.

Think about this, peace

i feel ya for the most part mike. BUT judging on the new sounds coming out of the bay, i think these new sounds we're hearing are off the hook.
I mean i agree with you, just listening to "on the block" last night i could hear some straight heat by some new bay artists, and i think thats coo cause that music still slaps hard. I just don't want to see some of the talent out here getting wasted by trying to BE east coast music; it's cool to change up the style like we seeing these artists do now, but make sure it's still hard and isn't any of this bubble gum rap that is mostly over the radio. Don't get me wrong i love the new bay music, especially what i heard last night.. All i'm saying is don't give in and make silly ass songs like most east coast we hear about, stay doin what we doin, and that is making quality tracks.

I'm feelin these new cats out of the Bay. I'm diggin Killa Kese, The Frontline and The Federation. I like the new shit that cats like Quinn and Ski are doin. I think that the Bay needs to change for shit to change out here, if we don't then we will always only hear our artist Sundays @ 11pm-1am.
