I'm on the verge of purchasing this preamp, has anyone messed with one? I'm going to buy it to record my classical guitar and vocals. My firebox has crappy preamps, I have to push the gain up way high and it makes it sound really bad.

whats the verdict on this whole dual core duo eight core triples and hyper transporting phenom quad cores for audio purposes? Has anyone tried any of the new stuffs? I'm looking to upgrade since i don't like my motherboard anyways. I'm going to have to buy new ram and a new power supply too.

I haven't checked out These Arms are Snakes until now, and i must say they're decent. And, I checked out the new Don Caballero cd. It actually has one song that I like on it really much, celestial dusty groove. The rest of the cd is okay too, but that song stands out from the rest.

Yeah I like it a lot too, you can hear phil's influence on the album too, it has a lot of string sections. I like never pleased and 1989 a lot, it should've been 1988 though. I forgot which song was it but on one of the songs, towards the end, i'm not sure whether it's a girl singing or if...

I've skimmed through it, and it sounds a lot slower than church mouth, a lot! The drums arn't as apparent either. It might just be my laptop speakers at such a low volume, i'll check it tomorrow in the car.
