i think tech's definitely trying out different sounds...i think with everready, even though he said he wasn't going mainstream, he definitely lost his underground sound. now he's trying to go for a more southern sound, which i'm not really feeling. i've only heard the sampler, but i wasn't too...

they switched up their style...they used to do sort of a nu-metal type of thing that included a lot of rappin, but their new album is pretty much all punk and emo bullshit because they're trying to sell a lot of records by doing what's popular that's what happens when you go mainstream...not...

shit, i'm already confused. i've listened to most of these bands at one time or another because my sister likes all of them and i probably bought her the CDs, but i can't take all these genres...this is wicked, man

the love for the underground artists in the bay is huge, so the DJs play the music because it's popular...in other places where the underground stuff aint as big, it's all about the money

i feel that the cover, insides, and overall look of the album are underrated...artists who put out good music should also have some pride in what they're putting out. i could understand maybe if it was an artist with very little money and just getting started, but mos def should have something...
