Regardless, this isnt workin and i odnt know why. Im starting to get irritated.

I think it's your computer...you dont' have to open the program first...i just closed my windows, hit the button, opened photoshop, pasted it and resized it...

i know you're at least somewhat competent on the computer, so it's not you, must be the lack of graphic programs or something? I don't know...

I had the same problem on my other computer, I'd hit the fuckin button, and nothing would happen....what o/s are you using? I had windows ME when i had trouble..
