only damn near 10 years later.....that means that it only sold 250,000 copies....it was a double disc.
Actually it wasnt registered as a double cd yuk has stated that in a interviews. The shit had to do the full 500.000 cuz it wasnt registered as a double cd. What bay area artist you know can sell 500.000 records with no promo ?

And even if he sold only 250k thats still more then all your favourite bay artists put together and e-40 with 50 times as much promo as yuk had is only at 230k right now.. so i dont really get how you can say anything negative about that homie.

Damn near 10 years ? it was released in late 99 thats 6 years ago
And i remember yuk talking about they cheated him out of a gold plaque a few years ago so it must have sold 500000 and i also remember reading some article on the net and it said that thugged out had sold over 250.000 records and that was in 2003 or something.

Whos sellin in the bay besides 40. man i listen to all the bay shit but real talk whos selling cds the bay or houston?
think about his possible sales outside of the bay area. everyone up in the bay says they buy cds but they all want music from sicctunes and links to song downloads. how 40 only 250000 with all his publicity?
downloads?

I don't understand what this "went gold with no promotion" i guess y'all are too young to remember when this album came out....it was in the midst of master p starting the double page ad trend with the poorly photoshopped covers....yuk had ads in all magazines....and wasn't there a video for still ballin?

^Hey, if people are still interested in buying your shit after that long, that speaks a lot. And 250,000 just by word of mouth, no real promo is damn good! Yuk is doin his thang, I believe in him, he's a boss. I think this next album will go gold a lot quicker, and maybe even platinum if he's promoted right.
