Now I feel so dumb being a fan of his because he happens to be an excellent lyricist, but who cares about that, right? Next time I buy an album, I should check into that artist's personal life and make sure he's not a SUCKA but some kind of a SUPER THUG, because that's what's really going to matter when I listen to the album. You obviously missed the point. I'm not defending Yukmouth, I'm speaking in general. I really don't care about an artist's personal affairs, if he's dope, he's dope regardless of him getting his chain snatched. But it's cool, everyone has their opinion. Besides, I'm sure you were at the club the night Yuk got his chain snatched because you seem to know all the details, and I know it's not because you took the time out of your busy schedule to read about it on some message board. Yuks resume speaks for itself. One of the seasoned vets of the bay that never comes weak and never comes weak on any artists albums/compilations/mixtapes features period. I dont understand how one might say hes finished cause of some diss mixtapes or hes finished cause he got caught slippin (remember kids it dont matter how much muscles you got or how much kevlar you got protecting your neck, aint no one in this world superman!). Think about what really makes him a factor in the bay. How much artists, djs, etc. has he hooked up with some quality 16s givin features to put some bread in the next mans pockets. How many times have you heard someone bumpin I Got 5 On It or playin atta club and everyone singin word 4 word til ya ears go deff. To me thats bein a factor and contributing to the history of the BayArea Rap Music
