I don't see why so many people are getting pissed off over a name, it's a little ridiculous to me.

Besides, they've said OVER AND OVER that it's not taking shots at nobody, so who cares?

I haven't heard of none of these dudes til after the year 2000 anyway, so if that doesn't justify being called "New Bay" in itself I don't know what does.

I/We support the new Bay. What they are doing is good for Nor Cal period. They aint really claiming to be what they aint. They are good Flowing Peeps. So what is the prob? Is it the name "New Bay"?
Everyone I talk to says the Bay is different from the Prime of the Nineties. So when it changed from mid 90's to late 90's/2k it was new, right? Then folks want us to get back to that type of music. But if we did folks wouldn't buy any cd's. Theyd try and compare it to the Old skool.
So these cats say they are trying something and making moves. Maybe not everyone agrees with the moves they make, but it is getting them noticed.

Yuk is Major, He could call out any person on any of these boards and crush him. But what motivated him to Call out Frontline, Lock and Balance? Is there more to the story? Or is he just So Major he wanted to remind everyone he is on top.


I got Respect for Yuk, But Yes this is one of the Reasons Bay dont blow. Too much funk over nothing! I know it means they need to Blow up Big to support that name. But JT remember you didnt Swell over night. It took Practice and Timing.

I used to Bump your shit in Sacramento back when No one around me new who you were. Everytime I went to the Yay I had to pick up a new GLP tape cause My Folks kept wanting em. Thats called Spreading the word through a Fan base. But once your shit was heard look what happened. Shit I had My aunt bumping your shit in the early nineties. Would go to her house and she would have you on Blast.

Same with Yuk, RBL, Totally Insane, Chunk, RBL, Hella Bay Folks that I would have to take road trips to get CD's. But now I can find these at mosts tores in Sac. Took a while but now I can get em. Cant find them When Im in Utah or Co though. We need to quit bickering and start the Tight knit Bay Love that got us organized before.
