Just got back from Asia on a 2-week vacation. The flight home to Frisco on United had a muthafucka all nervous as hell.

With about 5 hrs. left to go, the plane plunged all of a sudden several hundred feet and then would go back up all of a sudden, repeating the same cycle all over again (up, down, up, down) for about 3 min. You could hear everybody screaming and I could feel the blood pushing against the back of my head. The crazy thing was, the pilot just told the flight attendants to wear their seat belts and never even bothered to comfort the passengers. The rest of the time felt like a ship riding high tides too (heavy turbulence). I had to hold my food tray to prevent my braised noodles w/ pork in a light sauce from spilling out on the floor.

What was y'alls worst flight experience?

damn same shit happneed to be when flying back to the bay from new york. going over the appalachians we dipped a few hundred feet really quick, and everyone started screaming like we were bout to crash and then the pilot pulled us back up and it was shitty turbulence the whole way back.

ever since i've been really really nervous on planes, i think it was the poeple screaming but i was like fuc we're going to crash. i didnt even fly for a few years after until this last summer when i went to cancun, i just got so drunk that nothing could scare me

I will never ever forget my first flight to france from cali all by my self at 15,i was sitting next to this old guy that looked like my grandfather,he was jus a nice sweat old man that just chated with, all of a sudden he started havin way bad breathing problems, and had to get moved to the back on a huge oxygen tank, being jus a lil wierded out from that no more then 30 minutes later we hit fat turbulance in black/grey skies, the wierd thing was instead of any falling sensations,we jus got constant 45 degree angle right and left turns, definetly felt the g's.i cant get comfortable on planes, therefore i hate planes

Me and my family flew out from Oakland to Vancouver for Xmas in 04 on Alaska Airlines. The flight had to connect from Seattle to Vancouver, so in Seattle we boarded a TINY ass plane, I mean like 20-30 passengers max. That was the most turbulent plane ride I've ever been on, probably cuz it was so small I'm assuming.

Then, on the way home from Sea to Oak, the freakin plane didn't have any snacks, just drinks. What kinda shit is that?

I'm never taking Alaska again(unless they got some cheap ass rates to Vegas, then maybe)

Ive flown heaps all over the world and never had any bad experiences *knocks wood*, but statistically more people die getting out of bed than in plane crashes every year.

As well, more people get killed by donkeys annually than in planes. It is the safest form of travel.

.. I fly often.. but I'd have to say the worst flight I was on was mid-Summer going from Reno to Vegas.. now most of y'all are gonna be like.. pshh whatever, thats a hella short flight.. well... when youre in the air.. 5 mins of horrid turbulence can last a lifetime- 15 mins damn near killed me off.. hearing people gasp and say "oh my GOD.." was enough.. but then the plane hitting pockets of hot air and suddenly dropping or lunging to one side.. hearing cracks and thumps.. I was just waiting for someone to jump out their seat screaming and that would have sent me over the edge.... LOL..

Shit I was going to Cuba in summer 2000 and to get to Cuba you have to fly through Mexico. The flight from the US to Mexico was all good. But when you go to Cuba from Mexico they put you on the oldest planes that exist. These are the tiny little propeller planes and they looked like they were straight outta the 1950s. Turbulence the whole flight. It was so shaky and turbulent that everyone on the plane was waving there hands in the air and yelling like they were on a roller coaster. Everybody except for me I definitely thought I was gonna die.
