shut up! doug e fresh kicks ass.

A guy asked him if he (doug E. fresh) could rock the microphone,
and he gave him a pound and then said "shalom"

ROFL

telling someone "shalom" in response to someone asking you if you can rock the mic = CLASSIC

thats like being at a bar, holding your glass of hennessy up and saying "L' Chaim, my nigga!"

im suprised no one has accidently mentioned someone from jersey yet

funny how there are mentions of Redman and mentions of dead rappers in peoples top 5 NY list.

I really couldn't name 5 MCs from NY that I even still listen to. Jay-z and Nas have been releasing weak ass shit, JR Writer can only rap over slow beats that sound the same, Jae Millz can freestyle but most songs I hear from him are ass, Papoose refuses to release an album (fuck your mixtapes dun dun), Cam'ron has wordplay but be throwin in stupid ass shit, fuck jim jones, and MF Doom always sounds like he'd rather be doing 88 million other things besides rapping on the track that he's on
