Marley Marl is a legendary producer, he never spat a verse on a track.

How old are you? Chuck D and Public Enemy changed and revolutionized the face of Hip Hop music. In 1988 (The best year East Coast Hip Hop ever had) Public Enemy was the worlds greatest rap group.

Personally i havent followed PE since 91, but their first 4 albums are masterpieces of modern music. Chuck D influenced a generation with his powerful controversial unrelenting pro Black ideology. At one time he had the whole world as a stage, and everybody felt his lyrics.

Del as talented as he may be is an obscure left coast rapper, famous for being related to Ice Cube.

I would put Black Steel In The Hour Of Chaos or Rebel Without A Pause or Welcome To The Terrordome against anything Del has released or will release in the future.

Go and hunt down those songs.

Heard em all. I like some P.E. songs but to say Chuck D is anything but an ordinary rapper from the oldschool would not make sense to me at least.

@2-0- The Lupe beat is fresh not so much him.

You can say all you want but DEL is still the better lyricist anyday. Iam sorry thats just the way it is.

Fair enough, but if you listened to Hip Hop in 1988 you wouldnt have that opinion
