I could see why hes not dropping a real solo out yet, like other people said his shit is mostly on original beats. Thats all you could really ask for. If anyone thinks hes gonna have a nationwide hit on the radio then you better not get your hopes up to high. He doesnt have a nationwide distribution i dont think for one and second hes still not really known out of Ca. What mothafuckas dont really get is the West dont have a P-Shitty or J. Dupree to put mothafuckas on, Dre and Snoop are the closest thing and obviously just cuz you fuck with Snoop that aint really gonna blow you up

Co-Signed:
hate to say it because we love ya boy over at TBM, but i agree 100%.... The first project of ya boy that i ever got my hands on, rookie of the year was the hardest shit at the time, hell i still slap it, and keep it in my phone and mp3 deck... But optimus rhyme was overly anticipated and under impressive. I think thats why they didnt ship it out or do digital distribution for so long... Ya Boys buzz is good but if people woulda got a hold of this on the dates promised, the buzz about it would have spread and fizzled because it wasnt as "original" as people are claiming.

On the album note, i think Ya Boy is smart to build his buzz and keep putting out music. Its really smart to keep putting out a mixtape or street album every 3-4 months, BUT i think he needs to make sure to keep delivering quality and originality that his fans have grown to expect. Plus real talk, Ya Boy is selling more mixtapes than people sell albums, and hes sellin em on paypal for 10bucks... Most artists arent getting that cut of their albums in stores. So he's doing all the right things, just keep bringing that heat, keep your analogies fresh cause that's one of the things i love most about ya boy, the way he tells a story and paints a mental picture with his rhymes.

Bottom Line, YB is a real talented, smart and patient artist. He has alot more talent in his pinky than alot of these mainstream cats. I fucks with YB, and ill buy and collect everything he ever drops to support his movement. Ya Boy if you read this and i aint offend you or anything get at me cause we tryin to help promote you however we can. A cat gave me your first mixtape that was mixed by box kev in 05, and that shit really inspired me... really made me wanna contribute to the bay and try to push all you talented cats, and real talk thats one of the reasons me and my dude started thebaymusic.com.

And Optimus Rime was dope. I don't care what any one else says, so many people were feeling it. Chapter 1:The Rise was sick, as was The Fix, but theirs no denying Optimus Rime slapped.

**New Audio**Ya Boy is About To Murdah Shit!!

AS TAKEN FROM WWW.HIPHOPREALM.NET

$8.50
YA BOY-I'M BOUT TO MURDAH THIS SHIT! DIGITAL DOWNLOAD!!

Witty word play, amazing metaphors and a firm presence that can't be denied, are all things used to describe Hip-Hop heavyweight, Ya Boy. It seems like only a few years ago that the San Francisco emcee started to buzz and now there is no mistaking his place in Hip-Hop. From his early days with San Quinn to his Black Wall Street days to his K. Fed / Tila Tequila guest appearances, Ya Boy is always ahead of the curve and is always stealing the show. But don't let the names K. Fed and Tila Tequila fool you, YB is one of the most fierce and feared Emcees to clutch the mic.

Today, Ya Boy dropped, I'm About To Murdah Shit, another solid mixtape to add to your collection. If you liked The Fix or Optimus Rime you will love this new release. With tracks like Pick Me Up, I Don‘t Give A Fuck and Ride On Em, YB shows his dominance and firmly holds down his postion in the game.

Make sure you support this release and grab the digital download while you can! Make sure you visit Ya Boy and let him know what you think and pick up a limited edition Precise Music T-shirt while you're there!!!

Enjoy these tracks in the meantime.
