This thread brings back a memory to me. One time I went up in the store when Ron was eating and got like 3 cds. I forgot I didnt have cash, so I decided to break out the credit card. Now I have bought cds in there before on a credit card, but this time he was like, "We dont take credit cards." I pointed to his creditcard machine right next to his regester and told him "yes you do, ive bought here before with a credit card"
He was like "It takes too long, im tryin to eat here"
So fuck it, i just dont buy from there anymore.

Beats by the bay Was a phat ass Documentary.. and seeing as how aint nobody else done one like this... and too see Bay area bosses participate the way they did.. its obviously got the faith of alot of the bay cats... I mean just the statement alone about IF the "MOVIE WAS TIGHT" sounds like cats cant even support each toher.. a mutha fucca making a movie about a rap scene lost in the world of music nowadays, whether it was going to big screen or not.. are we so big now we dont want MORE free publicity... KONTAC... well done

MY Bad!

I never heard of it, no one ever holla'd at me about it. Like I said before, if you have any interest in XPLOSIVE Magazine reviewing your product, get at me. [email protected]

I know we have missed a lot of good product. But we still review the most Bay / Sac Northern Cali shit anywhere on print.

The Mak & AK album..

First of all I wanted to review that album. I thought it was tight. Better than a lot of other shit that came out last year. But when I approached Ron about reviewing it, it was too late, it wasn't personal. And I'm glad to hear and see- Showcase and Murderdog both reviewing it. They should, they owe it to their public to give the real, it just so happened that it was your product. You guys have some history behind yourselves, congrats on your success so far. They pass up way more good music than we do. They don't review enough music from the Bay, every issue. The new Murderdog is out and tell me what you think?? What are you promoting right now?? How did the album do?

I feel the same way. I grabbed the mag at friscostreetshow and read up on the City 2 City segment and was not mentioned. Keltic Tribe is from the Sco and have a been putting down since 1999. Been featured ona gang of albums and worked with many labels from Black N Brown, Black Power Productions, and Big Nest Records to name a few. Buymai Records has released 2 albums since our distribution deal in 2002 and it's only 2003 feel me. C-4 recieved a nice track from us outta luv and we just tring 2 get acknowleged for that in the least. Let us know.

@ MR. CEZA...

I COULD GO FOR THAT IF YALL ONLY HAD ONE ISSUE THAT YEAR. YALL COULD HAVE FOLLOWED UP ON THE REVIEW IN THE NEXT ISSUE. YALL REVIEWED HELLA PROJECTS WE WAS FEATURED ON, YET MONEY RHYMES GOT CAUGHT UP IN THE POLITICS. IF A MAG IS SUPPOSED TO SUPPORT THE BAY, THEN IT CAN'T BE ALL ABOUT MONEY. YOU SAID IT YA SELF. YOU THOUGHT THE MAC & A.K. ALBUM WAS ONE OF THE BEST LAST YEAR, YET THERE IS NO TALK OF IT IN ANY OF YA ISSUES. WE KNOW WHY THAT IS, BUT I AINT GONE PUT YOU ON FRONT STREET BECAUSE YOU DID YA BEST FROM THE FEW CONVOS WE HAD, BUT YA BOY AINT FEEL LIKE WE SHOULD BE IN THERE IF WE AINT PAID FOR A AD... I PUT MATERIAL ON THE SHELF THAT I KNOW WOULDA SOLD, BUT WHEN I COME TO PICK IT UP, HE AINT EVEN HAVE IT ON THE SHELF YET MY ALBUM WAS CONSISTENTLY SELLIN OUT AT ROCK BOTTOM ...

LET'S SEE WHAT HAPPENS THIS YEAR. WE GETTING THE NEXT ALBUM TOGETHER, IT'S CALLED HUSTLE MUSIC VOL. 1. IF YALL THINK IT'S WEAK, THEN THAT'S ONE THING, BUT IF YOU THINK IT'S A SOLID PROJECT, AND WE DON'T GET A MENTION, THEN CATS GOTTA CALL IT LIKE THEY SEE IT. EITHER WAY THE HUSTLE CONTINUES....
