NEXT STOP FOR 40 IS THE GRAMMY'S, THE COVER OF ROLLING STONE, NATIONAL RADIO SPINS, AND I BET THIS MOTHA FUCKA IS ON JAY LENO IN THE NEXT YEAR OR SO... E-40 AINT GOT NOTHIN TO PROVE TO NOBODY. For the last and final time, I am not quetioning whether 40 is a legend "He is" or whether or not he's tight because "he is" but is his career where it was years a ago? "Its Not" And please understand you guys are "fans of music" and not in the "Real" industry because the industry doesnt give to shits about talent all they see is numbers and really at the end of the day thats all any of us care about. This can be proven by Master P, Puffy, Snoop Dogg, and 50Cent amongst others who are not the most talented rappers but know how to make hits and have the machine behind them. I would say 40 is a better rapper than all of them but even at his hieght never was as successful as any of them. I'm saying all this to say talent only get you so far but if your numbers aint showin its a wrap.
40 was a Boss cause he had to be, to get the bigger feddi. He aint plannin to take over the world or nothin.... He never had these windows open for him before thats all.
