wow..another "enlightened" member is among us....

first off, welcome kfascole...

secondly, i know a great deal of that which you speak....and i would be interested in sharing knowledge sometime outside of this place....

it's good to see another finding the same sort of messages in Tech N9ne....

wow...this whole topic has given me chills because it hits so close to home....i spent a great deal of time and effort this past year gaining knowledge....a quest that was inspired by none other than Tech N9ne....

i feel for those who have expressed their belief that there is no reason for us being here on the Earth or the doubt of a God.....

i would like to share my personal experiences with anyone who would like to hear it....but be warned, things get a little creepy and unbelievable if i share my stories...even i didn't believe at one time...thats when the experiences began...

this is just another example of destiny in a way..i hardly ever check this board, until recently maybe once every 2 months....but the past week or two i felt the need to look around....and now i know why...

...Where the fuck is he hidin? Why doesn't he help your brothers and your sisters who suffer?...
im sorry that you feel this way, but to be honest, you just spoke the words of a devil.....you are tempting those who are on the fence by propping a ladder on one side of it......

you seem to have much anger in your heart....i don't know you.....i don't know what causes the pain in your life, but you might find the answers to fixing it if you put down your fists and research the other path.....

evil is allowed to exist.... how else would we know what good and evil was?.....if there was no measuring stick, what would the point of free will be?....they HAVE to coexist...

First of all I don't mean to offend nobody and I do nothing but expressing my opinion.
Of course Jesus is a fact. He was a person who lived on Earth. What I mean is that he wasn't the god himself. Now about radio waves, or microwaves or whatever there has been a research for thousands of years. We know their substance and no body can doubt on this.Science has explained almost everything. People had the need of a God the years that couldn't explain things and believed that they would never be able to do so. This made them think that everything depends on luck! Destiny! So they were afraid of the unknown. But still wanted an explaination and something that would be encouraging and protective for them. And they invented god. It was raining and people thought god is sad. In a storm they thought god was mad...On the other hand the story with God and Satan doesn't sound logical to me. If there was an Ultimate Power(like God) it should be unique. Because it supposed to be over all. So no other (like Satan) can fuck with it. Well someone could say that some time God was bored and created Satan to have an opposite and spend his time...I don't know...That's a big talk!

This thread has inspired people to express themselves and that is a very important aspect of truth. I have not felt offended as of yet, and hopefully I will not offend anyone else. This thread is about life, and how it is lived from an individuals perspective. We all live by what we perceive to be true. I haven't the time to respond specifically right now however, I am excited about the discussion at hand, and encourage anyone else to express their views. I will respond at a more convenient time.
Thanks,
kfas

really, i do believe this is a great topic for a place like this...and i'm glad it's here...

JL....i never said anything about Jesus being anything....however i do believe he existed and that his existence, as is ours, was for a purpose...

historically, it is very true that the Bible has been altered throughout time to benefit political and evil purposes..words were changed....parts were intentionally left out....etc...

i would recommend that alot of you pull up some research on the Book of Enoch, the Testament of Solomon, the Book of Jubilees, and other historical texts that were not included in the Bible....check out some of the entries found in the Dead Sea Scrolls, those that pretty much are an original form of the Old Testament...another good thing to do is compare stories of different religions and you would be amazed how similar the majority of the worlds religions are...

i dont claim to have all the answers, in fact i still have lots of questions.....all i know is that some pretty crazy things have occurred in my life that make me positive there is something else to our existence.......

...Same God, same Jesus, but different rules.

Exactly. The way you get so many different "denominations" is man has a problem with the way his current denominational church is, and decides to leave and start his own. It maybe very similar to the denomination he just left, but a few things are different.

If you're looking for the right church and believe the Bible as divinely inspired, then you have to find the one true church. But those that choose not to believe or make excuses in their own heads to justify what they do here on Earth, will truely be sorry when Christ comes back to claim his own on the day of judgement.

^^^man oh man..

you are lost homie! I could go on forever about this shit..
What one TRUE church? If you do some research "church" never even existed. Its just another thing that MAN made.

"It is an old maxim of mine that when you have excluded the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth."
Conan Doyle

Iam curious JLMACN/DJVanilla. If not God, then who or what? and where did who or what come from? If by chance (evolution) then how did it begin?
The chances are complexity of human life by evolution are infinitesimal.
Practically speaking the chances are quite impossible. (The math is scientific not suggestion. The law of probabilities.)
Spontaneous Generation? (living matter from nonliving matter)-NO, but if you think yes, then what- EX Nihilo (matter from nothing at all?) That would be reaching. My point is that science and logic lives in God's house.

In the words of Billy Preston, "Nothin from Nothin leaves Nothin." Then we are forced to come full circle back to a creator. You may ask, and where did he come from? I must refer you back to a very logical quote: "when you have excluded the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth."
Conan Doyle

Maaaan what'd Tupac say!!!!!!!!!!!
Just kiddin, neither side can be proved or disproved, Atheist as well as Theist
are faith based beliefs. Must weigh the probabilities. The thing is, whatever you decide to put your money on, you also put your soul on. Atheism-I wouldn't bet my soul on it.

what is to say that christianity is the true religion over buddhism or hinduism. Everyone just has their own ways of tryin to instill hope and more importantly morals to society. No one religion is truly divine, except maybe for Everready.

actually, anyone who has taken a biology class can create life from no life. all it takes is amino acids and electricity.

did jesus exist? http://mikeschepker.com/jesus.html

is there a god? http://mikeschepker.com/god.html

I also suggest people read Atheism: The Case Against God by George H. Smith. No matter what you believe. the book can strengthen your beliefs no matter what you believe.
I don't have a clue what high school you went to, but if you know how to create life the way you stated, then the rest of the world would like to know...

I personally knew the following statements to be true, but I did a simple google search for the other readers of this topic which relayed this information..

"Dr. Stanley Miller and Dr. Sidney Fox were two of the first scientists to attempt laboratory experiments aimed at trying to prove that life could arise spontaneously. They designed a Pyrex apparatus containing methane, ammonia, and water vapor, but no oxygen. Through this mixture they passed electric sparks to simulate lightning strikes.

What was the result? No life was produced, of course, but the electricity did combine some atoms to form amino acids(compounds that are the simplest units out of which proteins can be assembled).

Did the Miller/Fox experiment prove that life could eventually have arisen in some ancient sea struck by lightning? No, their results actually weakened the case. The mixture of amino acids and other simple chemicals produced is not correct for producing life. All known life uses amino acids which are exclusively of the "left-handed" form.

Left-handed molecules: a term used to refer to the "stereochemistry" of a molecule's construction; An amino acid can be chemically "left-handed" or "right-handed" in its orientation. These two forms are identical in their atoms, but opposite in their 3-dimensional arrangement. They are mirror images of each other.

No known life can use any combination of both "right-handed" and "left-handed" amino acids. Adding even one "right-handed" amino acid to a chain of "left-handed" amino acids can destroy the entire chain! When amino acids are synthesized in the laboratory, there is always a 50% mixture of the two forms. Only through highly advanced, intelligently controlled processes can these two forms be separated.

Even if this overwhelming obstacle did not exist, far greater problems remain for the production of life. There are numerous reasons why the amino acids would disintegrate or never form in the first place. Furthermore, life requires much more than amino acids. One necessity is proteins; another is a DNA code.

Proteins: extremely complex chemicals (molecules) constructed of amino acids; found in all animals and plants."
I would suggest furthering your own research before you put out disinformation to those seeking answers....

I personally don't see how someone can believe that humans are just forms of matter, without souls that simply evolved from a soup of chemical substance with a bolt of lightning as the catalyst.....If that is your belief, so be it....
