regarding Turf, I truly think he's a little too 'gutta' to actually sit down and figure this shit out.

I had PSD posting here for a while, I got Miami registered and tried to show him how to post, Sleep Dank would read the sicc for 15 minutes and be ready to fight. Mac Dre knew about the sicc, and registered and posted a few times under an incognito name and got frustrated cuz he didn't know a lot of the 'inside jokes' and lingo.

I know Baby Bash reads (and possibly posts) everyday, I am sure 40, Mugzi and them read but don't post, and countless others.......

Trust, the bay artists know what goes on around here.

Toro, you hit that shit right on the head. Then you got these cats that swear they the biggest rappers ever who are "too big" (in thier own mind) to post. When Game started the BWS he knew how to get it going, grass roots effort, start with the people who actually buy your shit and are the fans. interact with them. As far as someone being too "hood" or "gutta" to sit and use a computer, its time to step it up to 2008/2009, or be left behind. On time, in time, right down to the modern time.

This is 100% real talk. See, on this site, if you're not a San Quinn, or Big Rich, E-40, Yuk, etc...there's not a whole lot of respect shown to artists that are trying to get some REAL feedback. I get real and honest feedback on the street all day every day. On here, most of the time, it's "That shit sucks". WHY does it suck? It's either that, or no response at all. Artists don't really have time for that shit, ya dig?

Like Daddy Rich said...pick up a mic, get behind the boards, do this shit, make a hit record, THEN tell an artist how it should be done. Until then, artists aren't really going to waste their time on here getting no kind of worthy feedback. That's my opinion.

Artists who want to get feedback, have a discussion, whatever...they're fine here. It's the one's who've sold 11,000 units in a 200 square mile radius over the last 8 years that talk about how they're doing big things, selling this, buying this, have 3 houses, 8 cars, yada yada yada and plus...they pull better bitches than you, they're blowing up, and you're just hating...all because maybe you said you didn't like their flow.

It's criticism...answered with anger by the artist, that leads to 40 page threads about how wack they are and how they suck dick to get a deal.

You see artists on here (and in this thread, even) who can take the good with the bad, converse like an adult, and are able to decipher between (their) reality and (their) fantasy.

I think the main thing that keeps some semi-famous artists, especially those around the bay, from posting here on a regular basis is that they're not willing to take the chance that someone might not like their music, or tell them how great and wonderful they are, like they hear daily from the people around them. Sydal, Daddy Rich, and quite a few others are able to come on here and accept the good comments and the bad comments, and not act like they're so offended they want to bomb my house.

I like a joke, or a funny thread, or a roast as much as the next guy, and I've participated in 15801293057 of them, but if you come on here and your first post is about how you've signed to Cash Money, you post videos of empty houses talking about how you're ballin' outta control, claim to have a lime green Lambo like Busta Rhymes, show a blurry reciept for a $400,000 Jesus peice, and say that we're all ''haters who are jealous because I'm blowin up and getting rich!"...

...you know what it gets you.

Nooo. I'm speakin' about the folks who do make retarded comments but probably don't listen to any music that wasn't made in the Bay. There are quite a few folks that just talk shit, and have nothing constructive to say....But you do know what they say. Those who can, do...those who can't, teach.

The rest of your post, I completely agree with. A lot of cats do get offended, and they should probably look for regular day jobs and stick with that.

They gonna get that anyways....Mitchy Slick & Killa Tay always take time to chop it up with fans and clear up net rumors.....Them Skyline niggaz be in the So Cal boards always starting some gang bullshit with Mitch but he stands his ground, breaks out the Uhaul and keeps it moving.....He knows he's always gonna get hate but he also has fans on here that love the fuck out of his music and thats why he post on here.....Its about their fans.....They can't feel like I'm not gonna post cuz of a few haters.

If u wanted to go to ur grandmamas house but u knew it was a few knuckleheads on living on her block would that stop u......You'd just make sure u had some sort of protection if just in case shit gets ot of hand ad talk shit to those who talk shit to u if need be.

Playgirl Slim post on Siccness and I've seen people hate on her(I'm not talking about people who just have opinions, I'm talking about str8 hater shit) but she never gets hostile.....She always say "move on to the next artist" and continues doing her thing.
