not every back has to have that break away speed. Earl Campbell didn't, Mike Alstott didn't, Jim Brown didn't, Franco Harris didn't, O.J. Simpson didn't. All hall of famers, except Alstott

yeah, but if they were to play nowadays where 99% of defensive players are phenomonal athletes, they wouldnt have the same success.....

Every back has his own features, AP with his feet quickness and LT with his speed and vision. Barber is a powerback, can break tackles and get in the endzone.

lol and not last year, but during gores 1500 yard rushing season, he led the league in 20+ yard carries.....

Now that I think about it, I'll give the edge to Frank Gore because he's a bit more explosive. Both are good backs though...
