hes not shifty and gets hit almost every play....barber is a extremly FUN player to watch because he DOESNT shy away from contact (ehtier that or he just cant because hes not shifty enough)......he reminds me of chirs brown the year he had a break out year after eddie george left.....
gore is the better back though no matter what way you put it....if its "not a fair poll" then that should be automatic signs to cowboy fan boys that barber isnt even considerd an elite back yet.....
he has to prove himself on another level to be considerd great...
just because he made it to the probowl doesnt mean shit
roy williams made it to the probowl and that speaks for it self......
lol i took gore the year before last, and Scary and hella people were talking shit and i shut them up, so last year, scary (i think?) took him early lol and got screwed
about week 13 i trade marvin harrison for gore and he played out well in the end of the season for my fantasy team. i also picked up fargas and had laurence maroney so at the end of the season my team rb's were racking up points.
I say Gore is better than barber, simply because gore had 2 1000+ rush seasons with a much weaker o-line
gore carried the load while barber shared it so the numbers are irrelevant in that aspect. barber is more proven. if you cant stay on the field you aint worth a shit.
but i think gore is better. although he's not as much of a physical and punishing runner than barber, he is more shiftier and he has the speed barber lacks.
if gore had the cowboys' offensive line, i think he'd probably put up better numbers than barber.

how is barber more proven? he hasnt shown he can carry the whole load by himself, Gore has proven to be a top Running back in the league, last year he hurt his ankle in the beginning of the year vs arz, and played with it hurt most the year, behind a bad OL, with a terrible OC calling the plays, also remmeber, when a team is behind in score, they go to pass 1st offense, and there wasnt really any games where the niners were up enuff to go strictly run... whereas dallas was
