Stop right there. One game huh? Just like you saw Brady Quinn play "one game". And JaMarcuss play what, 2 games?

Your arguments suck becuase you dont even watch these players play. You base the LIFETIME playing of a player from one to a few games. THIS is why no one takes you SERIOUSLY.
Hey, how did you know I only seen Quinn play one game and JaMarcus two games? If you guessed... good call. No one has to take me seriously. I know talent when I see it. I haven't said anything (negative nor positive) about Quinn because I haven't seen him play too much. I call it like I see it dog!

Good question 3VID3NC3! I think one year Schaub came in for Vick and played pretty good. I could be wrong but I think hit lit the Patriots defense up in one game. I know he hasn't played too much and it's hard to judge but from the few times that I've seen him play and the highlights, I get the sense he's better than Carr. And obviously Houston does as well!

Gary Kubiak (Houston's head coach) has got some serious credentials dog. He was a qb himself backing up John Elway in Denver, he was QB's coach of the 1994 49ers when they won the SuperBowl, and he was offensive coordinator under Mike Shannahan. Kubiak gave Carr a chance but if Kubiak couldn't correct Carr's flawed mechanics then who can? Kubiak thinks Schaub is better as well that's why they swapped picks with Atlanta, gave up 2nd rounders in the next drafts, gave Schaub that fat contract and released Carr.

So think about it... I know you say I am swingin' from JR's scrotum or whatever but he'll be the best fit for the Raiders if you want to see the Raiders win ball games dog! Kerry Collins, Aaron Brooks, David Carr? That's just getting worse if you ask me.
Aslong as Houston's O-line is boo boo Schuab wont do any better then Carr.
As far as the Raiders..I dont care who our QB is, we need the line seriously upgraded for anyone to succeed. I wouldn't mind if we drafted all linemen.

I gotta disagree with you here... Schaub will do much better than Carr. Carr just flat out stunk and Kubiak gave up on him after one year mayne!

Drafting all linemen? Whewww.... you must really don't like our o-line. I am willing to give them another shot since we got different coaches.

IMO we only have a few servicable linemen on the offensive side. Sims(although I dont know about him playing LT, he did pretty decent at guard last year), Boothe, and Gallery(I think he'll be ok at RT with better coaching and scheme). We got Newberry who could be a nice upgrade if he's healthy and returns to form. The rest are up in the air or garbage(Grove, Mcquiston, Badger). Overall thats pretty sorry when our best players can only be considered decent at best. Real football fans know the games are won in the trenches on both sides of the ball. It wouldn't hurt to add another T, G, C, DT, DE and blocking TE. Those are the guys that help make the skill position players look good, bad or great.

As a real football fan I agree with you. When it comes down to it games are won and lost in the trenches. But with us having an opportunity to upgrade and get one of the best prospects coming out of college with the first pick, we gotta go for it. It's either a hit or miss. I don't think we have to throw the whole draft just to upgrade our offensive line. Don't forget we got new coaches. Our whole offensive scheme and blocking scheme is going to change. We gotta take Russell with the number one pick dog.... in my opinion.

PHOENIX (March 27, 2007) -- No one knows for sure what the Oakland Raiders will do with the first overall pick. But Raiders coach Lane Kiffin and owner Al Davis provided two hints Tuesday, one more revealing than the other.

Over breakfast, after stating how honest he was, Kiffin was asked to honestly assess whether he expected the Raiders to use the No. 1 pick or trade it.

Kiffin said the Raiders would do whatever was best for their team -- how's that for an honest and clichéd answer? -- and then, sarcastically, added this gem: "If we do pick there, we'll pick a guy on offense or defense."

So that eliminates Colorado kicker Mason Crosby.

The Raiders might find it hard to pass on JaMarcus Russell as their top pick.
Davis, on the other hand, was more far revealing. When discussing LSU quarterback JaMarcus Russell, whom many expect to be the No. 1 overall pick, Davis compared him to Hall of Fame quarterback John Elway.

Davis said Russell's arm strength is like Elway's, and so is his side-to-side movement.

And to this day, Davis still is miffed that he failed to land Elway when he thought he had struck a deal with the Baltimore Colts. Davis recalled Tuesday to a small group of reporters that, back in 1983, the deal to acquire Elway was just about done.

The Raiders were going to send quarterback Marc Wilson and two No. 1 picks to the Colts for Elway. The Raiders were going to have their quarterback for the next decade. Davis said he thought the deal was agreed to.

And then according to Davis, the NFL -- which was annoyed at him for getting ready to move his franchise back to Los Angeles -- stepped in and somehow blocked the trade. Davis struggled to recall the exact details Tuesday, but he did remember, rather clearly, that he didn't get the quarterback he wanted.

This year, he has a chance to remedy that. By no means does this assure that the Raiders are going to draft Russell at No. 1. But for anyone looking for the strongest hint to date as to what the Raiders would do with the top pick got it Tuesday.

It's going to be hard for Davis to pass up a quarterback that reminds him of Elway.

looks like Al likes Russell, so Russell it will be

Good lookin' T-Dubb! Gotta let these don't knows on here know what's up! Comparison to Elway? And we all know what Elway did during his career... Al Davis still got an eye for talent.

And don't forget about the hype and recognition we're going to be getting if we use that number one pick instead of trading down (think about it, who's going to want to pay to see a bum like David Carr?). Financial's come in to play here.... If we use that number 1 pick on a franchise qb and start winning we can forget about the local blackouts and being the NFL's team that everyone makes fun of. No more of that bs... were going to be back on top where we belong! We have an opportunity here. Let's not blow it my fellow Raider folkz!

I did see the Sugar Bowl though when LSU (Russell's team) blew Norte Dame (Quinn's team) out of the stadium. So yeah that should tell you about my credibility. Their teams went head up and Quinn's didn't stand a chance. The game was over at halftime! LOL

Thats funny, cus al the scouts seem to think so.

Quinn has the potential to be a great NFL QB. Alot of people think he is overrated, but he is one of the smartest QB's in the draft and a heck of an arm.

Yep.... Quinn has never won a bowl game which makes me think he can't win big games.... He's talented yes.... But a winner? No. More like a choke artist.... naaa just kiddin'... But he should have played better against LSU in the Sugar Bowl. Some people say he's more NFL ready but he sure didn't look like it in the biggest game of his collegiate career. He got clearly outshined. He probably did play better in other games though because he threw a lot of TD passes. But can he win them when they count? I dunno

an two years ago they had Ohio State who was hot as can be

Quinn will be a good pro, he had a good teacher in Weiss
