i know im late on the topic so forgive me if i jump in and take it backwards instead of forwards...


nigga is an ethnic term period. white boys shouldnt say it on record or in general but you know there are a few of us who lived "by the hood, but not in the hood" lmmfwao hahahah that get away with it. id never say it on wax. my wife is black and philipino so it gets tossed around my house between my brother in laws and shit but what ever.

fat joe is a boss for real. a real life street dude, and i doubt any human in new york would just run up on joe. so bitching about him on the net is gayer than i dont know what. but fuck it. its a word and he aint said "nigger" he say nigga. the ebonical way to address a human in the hood and a great cruth for ethnic rappers to use. if your vocablulary was huge, you wouldnt have to use crutches like "nigga" and things of that nature in ya rymes feel me.

The greatest black champions never promoted it's use (MLK or Malcolm X), so I don't either. I'm not perpetuating any words that further cripple the black identy some of the great black men in history have died for, thus I don't use nigga or nigger for the sole reason I respect black people. You may not give a shit about El-Hajj Malik Shabbaz' (Malcolm X) thoughts on people using that word but I do, he would think they are uneducated, Malcolm would think they are championing the white man.

Personally, and read what I typed because it's all there, what I don't like are those people that get offended because I question and check their usage of the word "beaner" in a malicious denotation but these same people don't even feel they have to worry about saying "nigga," a word with less than favorable connotation.

I never called you uneducated; but yea I might not have as quite thorough an education as some but that has nothing to do with what Im speaking on. Let me clarify my position a lil more for y'all folks.

I was saying that African kings and princes enslaved their own people and sold them to the white folks to make a point. I don't see why y'all think it's funny cuz in reality it's fucked up. My point is that black folks are directly responsbile for hurting their community more so than white folks who indirectly hurt the black community. It's all about profits and the slave traders of the 1700s and the CEOs of today are making bank but they aren't DIRECTLY harming the black community. It's the black folks who see little profits and are doing it themselves.

Take BET for example, I'm assuming it's ultimately owned by a major conglomarte and board of directors with a paler complexion than the people on the network. However, it's the black folks on the network that are representing their entire race as sex loving, gangbanging, illiterate people. I aint saying that's how all black folks are, I'm saying that's how people perceive black culture largely because of BET. Granted, that's a major aspect of urban culture but the channel isn't called Urban Entertainment it's called BLACK entertainment and that's how black culture is perceived by people not associated with black folks in their daily lives. You can take ppl livin in Japan or Korea who watch television and all they see is big booty hoes shakin they ass and black folks jumpin around grunting. There aint no black ppl over there so this is the ONLY representation of blacks that they get to see. It's all about profits and that shit sells and white folks is making hella bank off of it but ultimately it's the black participants who DIRECTLY harm the black community.

You can also compare the black community with the Asian community. Asians in America have not suffered 100s of years of slavery or the amount of bigotry that black folks have but that's besides the point. We keep shit in our community we own our property and we all live together in our own neighborhoods. We open businesses and do business with eachother and we form Asian owned Business associations and what have you to keep the money in our communities. Look at Chinatown, Koreatown, Little Saigon etc. We face hella discrimination and racism in America but we all unite and pull through. Look at the black community; crack hit the black community hard as a muhfucka and white folks introduced it and made hella bank off of it. However, it's the black folks dealing that shit to their own ppl that's DIRECTLY harming the black community. There's no unity in the black community and that's one of the biggest detrimental factors towards it.

Yea, the country is fucked up for people of color as well as poor folks, but it aint gon change if all we do is bitch. What I'm trynna say is black folks need to unite and start pimpin the system rather than say we oppressed so we might as well accept it and even buy into it. Everytime a black kid calls another black kid "nigga" he's just buying into the oppression. White folks get to look at the community callin eachother "nigga" and say "see, I told you that's what they were." That's the point I'm trynna make folks.

I've never used the word 'nigga'...because REGARDLESS of if I was black or not, where I grew up, it was a term used to disrespect someone else. Same as wetback and beaner. If someone called me a beaner or a 'nigga'...well, things happened.

I don't think that buffalo should be calling a BLACK MAN 'nigga'...'nigger'...or 'porch monkey'. THAT is what 'nigger' means to me. I think that if anyone calls a black man/woman 'nigga', and they ARE NOT black themselves...something is SERIOUSLY wrong. I may be mistaken, but I've never heard Eminem call Dr. Dre 'nigga'...nor have I heard Paul Wall call Mike Jones 'nigga'...
