I just wanted to know why you felt that way, thanks for explaining. Yeah I can see this conversation can quickly go from the politics of major labels, to the economy and literal politics. It would just get to be about the rap genre as a whole, because it's a lot bigger than bay rap. I'll just agree to disagree, because I don't feel like typing all that right now lol.
I'm telling you man, take the internet completely away, and I bet the rap game will be what it used to be. Fools won't get the chance to download leak'd albums before their even out, so they'll have to wait for the release date(like every other non-cheap bastard that waits) to hear it. Just like the good ol' days. Me and one of my homies, we always use to race to get the new No Limit albums. I remember when, Master P - Da Last Don, came out, I went to school and waited til lunch time to go get it, he skipped school just to get the album before me. I was piss'd lol

If I was an artist I wouldn't even make physical copies of CDs anymore... I feel like it would be a waste of money

I used to have this CD and on the CD itself it had a picture of Bo
Than I got a copy recently And it just sais Gas Chamber in blue across the top.
The one w/ the pic of Bo I had when I was like 13..it was so long ago i'm not exactly sure if it was the same cd but I swear that's when I was bumpin Bald Head Nut...any info is apriciated.
Oh and it wasn't the Autopsy CD. The cd had a pic a Bo Pointin a gun at ya n it was in blue.

I think people who still put out cd's in the long run will win because of the rareness of c.d.'s in a digital world. Collectors pay alot of money. Like that C-BO - GAS CHAMBER OG OOP go's for almost $200. bucks on Ebay.
If you market it right people will buy them til they're gone if you on an independant level. Old Bay and No Limit releases just go up in up in value.

I got lucky I guess, I went to listen to the new E-40 to see if I wanted to buy it. I ended up buying the og release of E-40 Federal and The Click Down N Dirty. Both were the original releases before they signed with Jive. I was looking for these for years. Looks like they re-released the original versions after their Jive contract was up.

I listen to your music , i listen to a lot of bay area artists , shit i smoked some black infused with jamaican yardie weed earlier on , only thing that makes the day go when you have to wake up at 9 am for work . ( also a few shots of that polish zubrowska bison grass vodka hitted the spot aswell haha )
